Draymond ran 40 feet to assault a guy around the neck. They need to wipe him out for 5-10 games It is his second ejection in a week... grow up or watch.
A history of the Draymond Green, Rudy Gobert beef https://hoopshype.com/lists/history-rudy-gobert-draymond-green-beef-fight-scuffle-trash-talk/
If he wasn’t adam’s baby boy, what would be an actual fair suspension for what he did? Given his insane history? Season? 40 games? 20?
Ban him for life and make him him ineligible for HoF. In all seriousness, I'd be surprised if he gets more than 15 games. League office should focus on player safety and reducing future occurrences. With Draymond, It's always somebody; the hit list is long. From opponents to his own teamates. Serious impulse control issues. Past punishment has done very little to deter subsequent occurrences. And shame on Kerr for his comments in the post game conference. Imagine choking someone at work at other jobs and what those consequences would be.
Gobert could of gotten hurt the way he was holding and dragging him back. Thankfully everything was good, but headlock was stupid of Green. He can defend his teammate, that's fine, but be smarter of how you go about it. Unprovoked or provoked, there needs to be consequences for how he decide to approach the situation.
I think the league is too soft: however. what he did with a 7 foot guy (and all his momentum) falling backwards stumbling in a choke is how you have c-spine injuries, which not only destroy your career…but also your life. It was dangerous and reckless. I know someone that committed suicide because of a severe injury in a similar fashion. Was never the same and unfortunately too much for the guy to bear 10+ games
I'd like it if he got 25 games. But since that wont happen, maybe 5. edit: I swear I wrote this before I saw the post above.
Pffft 5 games for doing sht like this. It benefits us since he won't b playing against us, but man should have gotten a longer suspension especially since he's a habitual offender of doing sht stuff like this on the court
