Before Harden arrived, the Clippers looked like they had finally figured out how to integrate Westbrook into their starting lineup. Harden should be playing the role KPJ was supposed to play for the Rockets this season. If he would swallow his pride and accept playing a sixth-man role, he could be the engine to make that second unit run, maybe all the way to the finals. But I doubt that's what he thinks he signed up for.
Probably not what they told him his role would be either. Think they lied to him? Uh-oh. We know what happens when you lie to James Harden
All the Harden nut huggers have disappeared, only the real ones remain who tried warning them who Harden was.... Thanks for the laughs and memories losers.... You know who you are..
How many games did The Rockets lose in a row before Harden decided they weren't good enough and requested a trade?
If the Clippers losing ways continue for a while, the Clippers FO might just decide to have a fire sale at the trade deadline.
A fire sale with no buyers and nothing good to sell? They’re screwed. Both PG and Leonard are/have been eligible for Max extensions since this summer. Neither got them as of yet. For good reason. They’re both due due $45M this year and have player options for $48M next year. Considering their age, contracts and injury woes I don’t think anybody is going to be lining up to trade or pay for either. Leonard has missed 147 regular-season games over the past four years, including the entire 2021-22 campaign with a partial tear of his right ACL. George has sat for 119 regular-season games during that span, notably missing three months in 2021-22 with a torn UCL in his right elbow. Westbrook makes less than $4 Mil a year lol. He’s staying. Harden is stuck. Not that anybody wants his sorry ass anyways except for his loser fanbois that wanted him back in Houston. SMH They have a team option on Bones and they’ll keep him. Zubac, Powell, Mann… all serviceable but not gonna get some great return. The Clippers really f*cked themselves going all out for Paul George. As if giving up Shai by himself wasn’t bad enough. Let’s revisit: Then they gave up even more of what valuable little assets they had left for the bearded bum ass loser when they had no need for him. They’re old, slow, injury prone, unathletic, lack size, too many ball stoppers, too many egos, got no assets and zero flexibility. Just James Harden doing James Harden things. Destroying another franchise on his way out the league.
Don't get me wrong, Harden IS an all-time great player. HoF for sure. That is why he could bring the Rockets so far during his peak. BUT. To be honest, the Harden ride was hard to enjoy. It was more a guilty pleasure than something to be proud of. The failures were predictable too. And BECAUSE he is so extremely talented, he is being held to higher standards, which is the standards being reserved for elite players: Do they have what it takes to make a difference when it really matters? No, Harden does not have it.
Now go find out how Westbrooks' time with the Clippers started as well. What kinda losing streak did the Clippers get off to with him?
So you're mad an NBA MVP that has gotten **** on(sometimes rightfully) for never winning a championship, wanted no part of a rebuilding project and requested a trade??
Some of y'all live for Harden hate without even watching the games. Ty Lue will get fired before the end of the season at this rate and it won't be Harden's fault. I'm being nice about Lue when I say he is an average at best coach. He's not good.
Philly is not rebuilding. In fact, they are one of the top teams without Harden. Harden overrated his own worth and decided to fight with Morey when he had very little leverage. The only leverage he had was doing his best to create drama that could ruin the Sixers's season.
