The white people I know that have money have largely left South Africa.

I agree with you that crime in SA has gone way up - and investment has gone way down as well.

South Africa is in a terrible situation - and I would not personally stay there if I were white and had means to leave - there is a lot of hatred towards the whites that remain.

FWIW I agree with you - as it turned out there were very limited fatalities, but next time a mob could decide to slaughter everyone in the building. People know that if you attempt to break into a governmental building, and charge at the police or military, you will get shot.

The only difference is the wokist far left have no power in the democratic party. Rashida Talib hasn't even gotten a phone call from biden. There's tons of braindead lefties protesting and showing outrage but they have no power in the current system and won't have power

    This is extremely accurate.

The Israeli government has gone out of it's way to support settlement beyond the borders of Israel, into the Palestinian state. The state of Israel spends far more money on settlements than it does on citizens inside of Israel.

I am sure that those Israeli's living in many of the settlements ARE happy. They are nice areas, clean and also usually really safe - they also receive lots of funding from Jews outside of Israel - but it doesn't justify what they are doing, forcing Arabs out of the area.

Exactly. Sun City in South Africa was a luxury resort that's totally awesome, but also only for white people. It was gorgeous. But definitely apartheid.

It's easy to pretend you belong there when the government backs you up to the point where you don't need to own a gun or lock your doors.

Pretty much manifest destiny...abstract the God part and justify it with the trappings of success.

Makes me feel sorry for the Jews inside Israel who are paying the real costs of settlement, but "legality" and "ownership" is already screwy concept especially in a region that remembers for several millennia.

Are you sure about the bolded section? The only info I could find on settlement support spending put it at about 1 billion NIS annually (How much do the settlements really cost? - Globes), out of a budget of 200b+. That would seem to indicate they spend 200 times as much on citizens inside the state of Israel as they do on the settlements.

So why is Israel funneling money to Hamas?

That's the old anti-semitic "It's the Jews' own fault that others want to annihilate them" argument.

It’s per capita - yes I am sure on that, at least as of 3-4 years ago. It’s possible it has changed but unlikely. Israel’s financial dealings show that they strongly support settlements in actual practice.

The spending is 2-3X as much. Why would the Israeli government do that? Because they support settlements in the occupied territories to increase their numbers.

What is? I'm just asking a question - by Israel's own admission, it has funneled money to hamas via suitcases. How is my question anti-semitic?

    No it isn’t though.

The Israeli government under Bibi has not only financially supported Hamas financially over the more moderate Abbas, but they’ve approved funding from Qatar to Palestine, knowing that Qatar supports Hamas.

Hamas is a terrorist organization and is a threat, with Hezbolha to the West and the Middle East - yet the government of Israel has supported them against Abbas. Why?

I don’t see how Bibi survives this long term but we will see.

Of all my Israeli friends, and there are many, there is exactly ONE who actually likes Bibi, and he wrote his biography lol. I'm not here ro defend Bibi, but he's besides the point.

Hamas was the government of Gaza. If Israel had blocked payments, the anti-semites would have said "apartheid", etc., blabla. If they let them through, it's their own fault their women end up getting raped and their babies get murdered. Can't win.

And then you have lunatics like this @Homey the Clown extremist who justify rape and murder as "counter violence".

    Insane.

The Israelis didn't just allow payments to go through. They took the payment, converted it too cash, put it into suitcases and drove it over to Hamas. I mean, you can't make this **** up.

Who knows what kind of deals were happening, hostage/prisoner exchange or whatever (if what you say is true).
