Yep.. UT comes out the gate , putting up points early every game.. So , I'll give him credit for always having to team ready to play.. Then around the 2nd quarters, he gets cute and wanna do his " Madden " plays instead of sticking to the script.. Then 3rd qtr, the secondary inexplicably starts to get exposed in long drives where the opponents convert seems like every 3rd and 4th down.. Then the 4th happens, and he shrinks his playbook trying to protect the lead.. Rinse and repeat
I think his second half play calling is tiring out the defense. He turtles, every possession is a three and out, and the defense doesn't get to rest.
I've never seen a top 10 team so aggravating to watch. Why is Sark so comically bad in 2nd halves, it defies comprehension. Games in which he clearly has the superior team, he does stupid s**t instead of a slow cruise control win he coaches a different team. He has 2 mindsets, YOLO or turtle.
Isn't "Dusty" one of those 3 mindsets? The kind that do this: I've never seen a top 10 team so aggravating to watch.
The offense has been just frustrating especially in the red zone. With so much talent, I don't understand why it's so hard for them to get into the end zone
I mean, Sark is one of the top playcallers in CFB according to all the commentators. He must be saving the good plays for when we really need it, right? Right?
https://247sports.com/college/texas...n-from-injury-tcu-horned-frogs-220142050/amp/ Even after his hot start, Ewers only threw 11 passes in the second half and completed seven of them. With that said, none of those attempts or completions meant as much to the offense as the one to Mitchell inside of the game’s final two minutes, which helped secure a win that has Texas heading into the final road game of the regular season against Iowa State (6-4, 5-2) next Saturday (7 p.m., Fox)
Really tough break. Thought he was one of the most underrated players in the college football. This will come down to Sark properly utilizing Blue/Robinson. He can’t run them right into the teeth of the def like he did last year vs Washington.
