Yeah and Murray is also bad on defense, Rox would have attacked him just like they attacked MPJ.

Yes, very admirable job on a OFF-night offensively. You need some context with the +/-, he saw extended minutes against the DEN bench, which was pretty bad tonight... But still, nothing but positives about the kid tonight.

if you dont know you a silas sympathizer.

Detroit 2-9. Silas is their lead assistant.

Did we really hold Denver to zero fast break points all game?

Jokic got tired of scoring, rebound, and assisting, so we won by default.

Ehh I’m Encouraged. I think those layups will start dropping. I think it’s way more important that he’s actually being … dare I say… a plus defender now… and making some nice passes also and not forcing it as much.

I’m liking what I’m seeing. Layups will start dropping and hopefully shot gets more consistent. I think you’re probably right that he’s exerting a lot more energy on defensive end and probably needs to get used to scoring on the other end after actually playing defense lol. He will be ok

Might just be me, but this year it’s seemed like we can finally do our franchise legends proud.

Felt like so many times I’d be watching games where we’d be like “HOUSTON LEGEND HAKEEM/BILL/CLYDE/etc etc IS IN THE BUILDING!”

And then the scoreboard would come on the screen and it’d be like Hornets 101, Rockets 79 or some shyit.

No Houston legend wants to see that crap. Glad we can show our guys some wins this year, especially during this extended homestand

They had to reset, though. The D. Murray/D.White core was not getting it done. Good players, but they couldn't build a contender around them.
Let's see where we get with our core. Things look great tonight, but a bit early to gloat and declare the rebuild is done...

All of the Rockets legends were sitting court side during the Lakers blowout.

Doing it against Lebron and the Lakers, that was their coming out party of "we are back".

Yeah, the Rockets biggest issue was Jokic, could be that Murray took away from that.

I think that year they were without Murray they were still a top team. Murray really just puts them over the top but they beat GSW just a few days ago on the road and GSW was at full health.

I mean we are their only other loss, they've lost to Minny who also looks great so far and...us.

They are a hard team to beat as long as Jokic is playing so we should savor this win and a great way to end the home stand before another though road stretch.

Again like...this was supposed to be the hard part of the schedule. The fact that we are 6-3 right now is insane. I think most probably had us at 3-6 or 4-5 at best lol with these teams we've played. I thought most people even the optimistic folks were like we just need to thread water and win a few games here and there while we play literally NOTHING but playoffs team...

And we've played NOTHING but playoff contenders these past few games and we are 6-3.

    Let that sink in.
