I was fine with tanking for a couple of years.

There was no need for year 3 to be as bad and I do not believe for a second that either Stone or Silas intended it to be that way.

 

I don't care man at the end of the day Rox completed the rebuild in 3 yrs San Antonio started before the Rockets and today they are still rebuilding.

 

They never intended it at the beginning but by mid-season you are sure Stone wanted to tank the most get Wemby.

 

yeah im okay with tanking but this dude silas had no idea what he was doing.. check the clips on twitter. Sengun was depressed because silas and higgins said he was an ass defender. homie didnt know what he was doing wrong; was questioning his whole bball existence. jalen was okay with losing under silas, man... it was psychological warfare.

 

Couple things. I'm not even sure how we even won. We didn't shoot better. We were out rebounded. FT was the difference. We just wanted it more and it shows in the FTs.

Secondly, I'm getting really tired of all of the excuses others are making for the other teams. Even some of our own fans! I mean it's like "so and so all-star didn't play tonight! blah blah blah." How many all-stars do we have on any night? 1? FVV? Gimmee a freakin break.

I'm seeing the extra gear from the 3rd year players and even Tari. A little worried about Jabari though. Keep hoping one of these days he'll have his "matrix" moment and realize there is no spoon. Scared imposter syndrome is going to settle in. Hope the coaching staff has a psychologist among them.

 

Murray would have helped for sure but they win games without him pretty handily, they are used to him not being around at this point.

But everyone also has an off night against the Rockets, they just defend well.

You're going to hear a lot how the opposing team just wasn't in rhythm when they play the Rockets.

 

2 more times breh.....they do not play each other 4 times..........Schedule is that way.

 

I think Silas was an outstanding human being but, and I'm sorry, he was TURRIBLE as our coach. I stand by my statement that our young core players were mentally dwarfed by his leadership. Nop development...NONE...ZERO.

 

Silas was mean to me with the bball he had as watching. Silas bad guy confirmed!

 

Silas got Wood as the veteran, while Silas was much worse coach, he did not get veterans that were solid 2 way players.

Silas with veterans and no tanking plan would still have won close to 30 wins.....you can still win without much coaching if you put a good roster in place.

But Winning was not the Plan.

 

Some people just naturally never happy. What a stupid argument. Injuries are part of the game lol

I think another fallacy is to ASSUME that Murray would have been a net positive. In the NBA it is never a given what will happen on a given night, see Jalen Green Pelicans vs. tonight.
