This is my biggest worry. I don’t think as Americans there is really much we can do about what is happening in Gaza. Israel isn’t going to be swayed by protests nor will Hamas free hostages because of protests. If Biden put more pressure on Israel they likely won’t listen and it would be political suicide for him to take a strong stance against Israel. The US government has no sway over Hamas. What I am very worried about is this spilling into the US. We had a six year old stabbed to death because he was Palestinian. We’ve had Jewish people attacked here too. We should not allow this to be a battle fought on US streets. We’re already dangerously divided enough as is.
