I got crucified last year before the draft for proposing the Rockets trade Jalen for The 2nd pick to get Chet. Everyone was like Jalen is proven, Chet is a gamble, blah, blah, blah. Now I bet 90% of Clutchfans would do it.
Duuude it's bc everyone forgot that if 90 percent of clutchfans agree then the opposing nba team is required to do it. If we knew that we would have all been on board. Shame on you for not reminding us. You are 100 percent to blame for rockets not trading for chet.
Many people predicted Chet would be this good. The gamble was not about his skills but about his body's sustainability. On that front, the jury is still out. Same thing about Wemby except that Chet wasn't hyped as much as Wemby is.
The Rockets have drafted 3 straight times in top 4, and while it looks like we have made some solid singles, we still don't have a home run. Our best pick to date has been Alpi. DD
What makes you think OKC would do it just cuz you propose it? Why not propose trade Jalen for Luka? Maybe if we all agreed Dallas would do it. Also the problem with Chet is his health so tbh I'd still rather have Jalen. I'm in it for the long haul I'm not expecting to die within the next 5 yrs.
I looked for the reason......yeah OKC came out flat and was outscored by 14 in the first 12 minutes........ Won it in the first Quarter. Did not oversome the deficit in time. Outrebounded by 14, outhustled...and made 6 less treys........That was the story. Both teams made about the same amount of 2s....... Worst game by Chet Holmgren so far. 1 out of 9, you take it. Sac 28% from 3, OKC 23% from 3........so both teams were not shooting well. Conclusion: Sacramento did not play their A Game but did what was necessary in a battle of who is worse.....
