You might get to see that line-up in short spurts.

 

Ridiculous. The Rockets starters are no. 1 in the league as a unit. Jalen just had his best game this year, improving in almost every aspect of the game. Having Tate and Tari in the second unit is a blessing, because we need the defense to just hold serve as much as possible while the starters rest. Add Amen to that mix and we will have a very nice defensive 2nd unit.

 

I've plunged for the win. Wait for it... Twenty bucks!

I'm excited to see Tari on the court. Another spark off the bench. I'm sure coach will whip him into shape and get him to be a more disciplined defender. He has all the tools to be a great defender, just needs to play under control and not gamble so much, plus team defense needs to be a lot better.

 

Consider this: Although Tari hasnt played in a while, he has been there the whole time. Absorbing Ime's directions and advice. Learning along with all the other guys. He could come out looking like SuperTari compared to the last time we saw him play

 

I hope Clutchfans is ready for the overwhelming free throws Lakers are about to get after Lebron complaining nationally after their last game. Lebron literally went on social media to complain about not getting enough fts and his fanbase are out in droves threatening refs to reward him the next game (vs us).

Lebron might get 25fts himself. Sengun might get 4 fouls in the 1st half.

That said.. **** the Fakers, another rigged team in the league.

 

As long as the Lakers lose, I dont care if he gets 50fts.

 

Certainly something to watch for. Or maybe sleight of hand like last year, when Lakers complained for Lebron, so they gave the calls to Reeves. That way, it doesn't seem too obvious.

This recent news is seen around the league by other fan bases.. so it'd be interesting to see.


Note: Kings in the 2nd game, fouled a lot because they didn't move their feet and just 'reached' (when their defense broke down). Lakers will their old legs; may do the same and start reaching; just hope it's officiated in the same way.

 

Hoping for an upset win, I'll be happy to just see us continue to play like we did last game. Could be a big night for any of our youngsters and I hope Dillon actually clamps LeBron's old ass to shut up some of the haters on social media.

 

I'm basing it off 2 years worth of games, not one game. Jalen Green is the weak spot on the starting unit.

 

The more I think about it, the more I think the Lakers are not going to be able to keep up with our hustle.
They are not used to be challenged like this Ime inspired team challenges the opposition.
If it unfolds as I am seeing it in my mind, expect a LOT of Laker turnovers and broken plays.

 

Keys to the game:

play dirty, get Lebron injured.

 

Take advantage of it and attack the rim relentlessly. Force the refs to call the fouls the other way also.

 

If the Rockets come out with the defensive intensity of the last two games, I expect to see a very frustrated Lakers team. They are going to resent the level of effort that will be required to beat a team they've already penciled in as a win.

Most of his career history team has been worse when he gets off the court.

And it's even a bigger gap given that Ime doesn't play Jabari much with bench units while Green will often stay with the bench units to be the primary option with the bench.

 

The team is led by LeBron and AD, two cerebral players who pay attention. I'm sure they watched game tape of the Rockets and Kings and saw that this is a completely different team than last year when it comes to defensive competence and effort.

 

Seeing it on tape isnt the same as having it shoved down your throat on the court
