I might have been a tad bit harsh on Dalton calling him soft, after being so high on him to start the season. Still had that play from The Quarterback School where he pets the defender then he fumbles and then you find out he hates Tex Mex. Dalton 350 yards/ 4 tds. Cowboys TEs, all three of them, 254 yards/ 3TDs
The Browns may have to let Amari Cooper go in free agency. Mike Evans will also be a free agent. I would love to see the Texans sign one of these two.
The trick is signing FAs with their best seasons ahead of them rather than paying for past great seasons with former teams. It's much easier said than done.
I get that, but those two are the best of the best FA possibilities right now at WR. I don't know if they would sign a 2 YR deal though. I'd honestly love a big upgrade at cornerback, and hope we sign one. Yesterday's pass coverage was hard to watch.
I'll leave the deep dive to the pros. Fit, health and attitude are all things which tend to be hidden by both teams and players until a parting of the ways is required.
I guess there's still a chance this year, so we'll see. But winning the division should be a realistic goal next season. Just hope the Texans have another draft like the 2023 draft, and maybe get a couple free agents that could help in positions of need.
Saw that Stingley posted an Instagram story with his pads on. Could be something, could be nada. 1st limited practice? We'll find out tomorrow.
To'o To'o's passer rating when targeted as the MIKE= 91.2 (3 games) To'o To'o's passer rating when targeted as OLB= 130+ (4 games) The Good news is Perryman has consecutive games of only allowing an 80 rating when targeted.
