What an offensively bad idea. And, it wouldn't make victory in court any more likely for Trump. Paying (or at least promising to pay) lawyers is not the bottleneck of his legal defense.
Shows the warped priorities of GOP leaders, coming from a state that ranks 46th in the nation in people who can't afford healthcare, and they want to pay for a criminal and traitor's legal defense. Texas is ranked 50th, and of course, it's led by GOP Trump butt kissing politicians as well.
republicans tried for years to take control of the House and this is what they spend their time doing? Can anyone, even the most fervent maga explain this?
only difference between horse face Green and the ramblings of a mentally ill homeless dude in front of the gas station is that she gets paid for her sh*t “receive awards for the way certain people have sex”…Idk wth that’s supposed to be referring to, but it’s probably dumb as hell
She doesn't do anything positive. She has made it her whole purpose to initiate impeachments, or propose firing people, or simply voting NO to any proposal or bill not initiated by the MAGA cult. Just a worthless trashy woman who couldn't keep her clothes on outside of her marriage.
I don't know about MAGAs, but this libertarian can. Nothing they want to pass will be passed by the Senate and signed into law by the President. They passed several joint resolutions (which can get through the Senate on a flat majority) and President Biden vetoed them. This is the beauty of divided government. The best thing they can do is nothing. Unfortunately, they keep caving to Democrats on issues like the debt ceiling and government funding, but that is to be expected, because the GOP is also a party of big government and high spending. It seems to be the one thing they can actually agree on, that no matter what disagreements they have, the money has to keep flowing out the door.
As a so-called "libertarian", you didn't explain why your fellow magas (er, I mean, those magas) continue to waste time and money instead of working for the American people and addressing problems that face Americans. Instead, you complain that magas "cave" to the other party.
I did explain it. I guess you didn't read the first half of my answer. The reason is that the stuff they want to pass can't pass the Senate, or in the few instances that they can get something through the Senate, it is vetoed by the President. The only things they can get signed into law are things Democrats support (see raising the debt ceiling, CR to fund the government, etc.) If they pass whatever MAGA thing they want to pass (say building the wall), that won't pass the Senate and it won't be signed into law by the President. That's the reason. I'm glad they are not passing a bunch of stuff the Democrats want passed, I just wish they would pass less, specifically that they would stop funding most of the federal government. Unfortunately the one thing the GOP and the Dems agree on is that a big federal government is great.
Republicans screwed themselves with appointing abortion judges. If the idea is winning races for Republicans. Also interesting in KY that the candidates that did better in the statewide races were all ones that fought off election deniers in the primary. If Republicans can fight off election deniers and abortion isn't on the ballot, it will help their candidates. But women still don't like having their rights stripped from them. That issue doesn't seem to be fading.
Ohio abortion constitutional amendment initiative has been called. A big win for women and pro-choice.
Every time they lean into being more MAGA the more they get their ass handed to them. Trump is an absolute disaster for the GOP down ballot. Keep leaning into that loser
Glenn Youngkin's GOP hopes in Virginia fell apart too, and he ran away from MAGA. Along with Ohio voting for the abortion rights amendment, this is an across the board disaster for the GOP. Any message they have, whether MAGA or not, is being drowned out by their stance on abortion.
It's interesting that you support the US defaulting on its debt and collapsing the entire economy. Not surprising, but interesting nonetheless.
