The notion a piece of land is "our" land by ancestry or original right or something is preposterous. Your ancestors almost certainly took the land from someone else and, likely, the land has change hands many, many times. We would have to perform some sort of title search going back to the first humanoid to decipher who any piece of land really "belongs" to.
That is wonderful - and we could do one for the Assyrians as well.... and the Sumerians and about 25 other groups in that region.... and in fact, the initial justification of some Zionists were that the Palestinians were FORMER Jews that were forced to convert after the completion of the Crusades. We know that this isn't true, because of genetic testing... as the genetics of the region are relatively stable for over 2000 years. Even taking that into account, it doesn't matter - because the Jews had largely left the region a thousand or more years ago, so they have no more of a devine claim to the area than any other group from that region in antiquity. Hell - the Assyrians and the Neo-Assyrian empire can make an even more compelling claim to the region than others - and if Assyrians around the world did what Israeli's have done over the last 80 years, they would be assholes too.
Do you think that Israel should pull their soldiers out of the Westbank? Do you think that Israel should stop killing as many Palestinian civilians as it has over the last 50 years? Do you think that Israel should stop supporting the spread of Jewish settlements in the Westbank? Do you think that Israel should stop operating as an apartheid country? Do you think that Israel should stop oppressing the Palestinians that have been there since the Bronze Age? Should they stop controlling the construction permits, zoning and demolitions in the Westbank and Gaza? Should Israel stop controlling the free travel of Palestinians? Should they stop land confiscation and control of mineral rights and water rights? Should they stop forced displacement of native Palestinians? Should Israel stop violating basic human rights? This is what you and others do not get........ Hamas is terrible, the killing of homosexuals is terrible - as is a theocracy - but that does not excuse what the Jews have done to the Palestinians have done, and the problems did not start 10/7/23, they are long standing. Hamas is a terrorist organization that is disgusting........ Israel is an apartheid nation, the last major one left with the fall of South Africa and Israel is disgusting. Both things can and are true.
LOL No, it isn't about peaceful co-existence. The Arabs in that region of the world want the Israeli's gone.... they are not Arab Muslims in a landscape of Arab Muslims, and they do not like how Israel treats the Palestinians.............. there is no peace. If Israel fell tomorrow, all the Jews in Israel would be slaughtered, and the same would happen if Israel could get away with it, they would turn the Westbank and Gaza into a parking lot and build settlements on top of the bones of the Palestinians.
Israel has only defended itself. All this talk about "apartheid state" is wrong when it is clear that the more resources Hamas and previously the PLO got, the more they used it for terror against Israeli civilians.
