You wanted them to put in a QB you've never seen and who's never taken a college snap in a critical situation late the 4th quarter against a really good defense?

Yeah I'm tired of him leaving points on the field especially with a backup QB.

Murphy was awful this game and I pray Ewers comes back next week.

Maalik is so not ready. Four giveaways in two starts.

Sark’s playcalling with a lead is just baffling. Literally no lead is safe. I understand not wanting to put the ball in a true freshman’s hands but Malik is just too careless with the ball. Not a good thing going on the road now.

If Sark and the coaching trusted him, then yes. Murphy had 2-4 other passes that could have also been intercepted.

I think the in-game adjustments by the defense are suspect, as well.

Somehow they beat a top 25 team with a QB making his 2nd start.

Were you surprised the game was a close game? If you were, you aren't familiar with UT/K-State games.

    Turnovers keep games close.

    Young QB's make mistakes.

I ain't blaming the young QB or the turnovers.. All my concerns since game 1 has been the coach and his situational coaching.. I, just me now, believe his playcalling arrogance leads to weekly momentum swings .. Even if they go on to win the game..

Doesn't really matter if you believe in him or not - you'd be setting him up to fail. And you'd basically be messing with Murphy's head as well and you might just need him in more games this season. The mistake they made was not playing Manning when they had big leads both last week and earlier in the game today - that's how you use a QB into college football.

This. Taking 3 points is not a loss, especially when you have a sizable lead and the defense is playing well. Of course I was yelling to punt the ball when Baxter broke his TD on 4th down.

What do you mean by playcalling arrogance?

On3 posted that Malik averaged 3.3 ypa after the 1st quarter and should’ve thrown 5 INTs on the day. I understand not throwing Arch straight into gunfire yesterday but he probably should have gotten some reps against BYU.

I've never seen a QB as huge as Murphy be so jittery in the pocket

Let's just hope Murphy improves from yesterday or Ewers comes back soon.

    I don't really think Ewers is week-to-week.

Sark called him day to day yesterday. Thinking a smokescreen for TCU but apparently he is throwing already is a good sign.

Catalon also practiced yesterday. Huge if we can get him back in the fold.
