Apparently princess ivanka is trying to avoid testifying. I wonder if seeing her two idiot brothers testify has anything to do with that?

Not sure I understand the focus on what the Trump boys knew. Didn't the organization engage in fraud whether the Trumps realized it or not?

 

Correct. They have already been proven guilty of fraud. This is only piling on the penalty stage. My guess this will result in a corporate death penalty for trump... at least in the state of New York.

 

Apparently princess has the same luck as her daddy when it comes to court decisions... the nannies will just have to spend a few more hours with her kids.

Jr and Eric’s defense of “I was unqualified for the job and didn't know what I was doing” is hard to argue.


Their father should use it in his DC and Florida cases.

Hubby must not be capable either. All those billions, and claiming a hardship to appear in court is so fitting for daddy's little princess.

 

I wonder how much patience the judges in trump trials are expected to have?

 

Inviting him? More like daring him. Not only would Trump's team try to turn a contempt-of-court charge into grounds for appeal, the judge would have to contend with additional death threats. I doubt now that Trump ever wanted a jury trial. I think he wanted to complain about not having a jury, and then pick a fight with the judge to claim bias. Even if it doesn't work judicially, he'd get some mileage politically.

 

So the question... does everything involving trump require concern over what it will do to spark death threats? Will future political figures learn from this and go even further than trump? Heck, what about well-known criminals who are not political figures?

I think at some point you just have to do what is right.
