SOF here - but that doesn't mean I jump on everyone that critisizes him.
You are talking about Curry. Stephen effing Curry. PG extraordinaire, the best shooter ever.
    Do you think that's fair?

It's hilarious that you are hyping up a chopstick because one player doesn't target him. Yeah that's a massive win for Chet he should get a ring for that. Instead what will happen is that he will rupture his achilles then it'd be easier for Curry to shoot over him when he's laying down on his bed. I bet he'll have real trouble blocking that shot. Stop lusting for players that will not not be with you when you need them the most. I don't want my building block to be sidelined by injury in the 7th game of the conference finals

    I'm just saying....

Like 6 years ago the Rockets ran flyin' Ryan Anderson out of town, shipped off good assets too, on the simple basis that he couldn't guard Curry on an island.

Lmao okay dude, no one can stop Curry, but you can at least mitigate what he can do out there. They had a very clear strategy of targeting him that quarter. Enough of this.

Dude, I'm watching the game and cheering on the squad and you're here riding my jock to slurp Sengun.
    You are officially a clown.

Boban is clearly putting his bid in for franchise player status. :D

But seriously, those numbers are about what I would expect but I'm leery about putting too much stock into them given the small sample size.
I mean one game jumped the team defensive rating from 26th to 17th.

Twenty games in will give a better picture but even then I expect the team will still be acclimating.

One thing is clear, the bench sorely needs a healthy Tari and Amen back in the worst way, because Bullock and Landale have been a bit disappointing thus far.

I keep hearing his defense sucks and his progress isn’t where it should be

He’s looked better last 3 games, he’s gonna get there.
He’s still on the bottom of net rating for the starters, but that’s not saying much. They’re all doing well, it’s the backups that have been really bad

Small sample size didn't stop him from obsessing over stats from ONE game earlier in this thread.

When he posted that, I asked:

    His response:

Ok, well, let's look at that exact same link again today:

I get it - the sample size really IS small. And I, personally, have been very pleased with Jabari, actually think he has been great.

Just calling out the blatant hypocrisy of poster @34to11:

When some data appears to support his ridiculous anti-Sengun assertions, no sample size is too small, even if it is only one game.

When the data doesn't support his claims, then 5 games is too small a sample size.

Jabari has been definitely worse than him on defense so far this season lay off the weed man.

Man funny how most of these people "Jabari is definitely worse on defense than him..." all came here after Sengun been drafted.

    Again, I'll trust Ime.

Ime's actions seems to tell me that he thinks Jabari is the better defender.

Teams simply don't hunt Jabari and Jabari is always guarding either the other teams first or second option. Sengun is hidden away in the post and is often not involved in switches and there's a reason for that.

But hey, you were one of the guys burying Jabari after 2 games, what do you know?
