Devin Singletary 13 carries, 26 yards, 2.0 average C.J. Stroud 30/42 470 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT, 11.2 average I hope Slowik learned something today. CJ is making a rookie and two Cowboys rejects look like all pros. Code: REC YDS AVG TD Noah Brown 6 153 25.5 1 Dalton Schultz 10 130 13.0 1 Tank Dell 6 114 19.0 2
Jeezus christ after all that suffering under sht BoB and Watson dirty behavior we are trending up! A rookie that is able to perform under pressure with that game winning drive is stuff of legends. Broke the rookie record and had a non kicker score a field goal
Wondering about status of Will Anderson. You could definitely tell a difference when he was out at the end.
Reminds me of the N.D Kalu story. "Back in our days our coaches treated us like men. They let us wear earrings at practice."
Uhhh...QBs drafted top-5 recently: Lawrence, Wilson, Lance (top15: Fields, Jones); Burrow, Tag (Herbert 11); Murray (Jones 6); Mayfield, Darnold (Allen 7, Rosen 10); Trubisky, Mahomes (Watson 12) I think that the NFL judges and drafts QBs just as shittily as they always have, teams are just more desperate for one
That’s exactly my point… teams are so afraid to miss out on the 5th round pick (Brady) and with it being more important than ever, that they’re going to go ahead and take anybody they project to be projectable. And yet none of these projections can be validated till they actually play… and even then, you still have a guy like Purdy who slips through and manages to have success. Maybe they should just have a separate draft/combine/process for QB’s… and leave the conventional draft to every other player.
Well Slowik could have learned from my posts all year to lean into the pass to set up the run, instead of trying to run into 8 man fronts. DD
