Have you tried to kick a FG with people coming at you?

The reporters need to ask Demeco why he refuses to blitz.

What the hell are you doing by a computer then? Get your ass to NRG… lol.

I do believe place kickers can be punters… but punters may not be place kickers.

Do we not have a back up kicker?

Texans: 7 rushing "attempts" for 7 yards. Official stats now actually putting attempts in quotes.

You have an emergency kicker on the active roster, not a back up. Only 53 can dress.

I wonder how many teams actually have a second guy on their roster that they’re comfortable turning FG kicking over to. It’s one thing to kick off. Or punt. Quite another to make FGs in an NFL game with that kind of pressure

Even just the timing with the holder. This could get especially hilarious.

Great point. Our punter is our holder.

9 points on TB by "late hit" on the qb that had already established himself as a runner when he got back up but no one is talking about that. 2nd, A "unnecessary roughness" when the ball carrier lowered his head and that bogus bail out P.i.

they almost never get in-game injuries. It's mostly a non-contact position.

There’s a litany of videos out there of NFL players trying to kick FG’s (badly)… and they’re attempting it off a stationary holder without any defense.

It’s a skill-set. Much like hitting a golf ball accurately every time. Can be accomplished with tons of practice… but not just something anybody can do.

In middle school football / pee wee, I was the quarterback, the kicker and the punter. It’s weird teams don’t have any redundancy here.
