How can KPJ be a combo guard when he was trash at half (facilitating) of what combo guards do? A combo guard is a combination of a PG and a SG. KPJ was beyond terrible as a PG. He was so bad that our FO looked to replace him in the facilitator role as soon as the season was over.
If Green wasn't playing for one of the worst teams in the league, he'd be coming off the bench for most other teams and playing 20 minutes max.
So much so that even after being ultra passive and standing in the corner for most of the offensive sets this game when they finally gave it to him the Kings felt the need to double him and get the ball out of his hands.
The Rockets lose tonight without Green. He ran the offense to close and created looks for almost everyone. Green has been a disappointment but tonight isn't the night to clown him.
Green didn't hang up any points, but his aggression and passing kept the Kings off defensively. I am happy with the way he played tonight personally.
Maybe so but I've seen people make dumb arguments suggesting +/- is the NBA bible for player performances.. Can't have it both ways.. Though most will
I don't like plus/minus metric personally it is very deceiving. It's obvious why he's +26 tonight it's the sengun-brooks lineup. I liked him because even though he couldn't score still made clever plays for others. His turnovers weren't low bbiq turnovers tonite.
I wish he’d go to the basket stronger. I wish he wouldn’t lose his man on defense so often. Happy with his passing tonight and not panicking when the pressure came late.
I would rather him do this every night rather than taking 20 dumb shots. It's learning how to play proper basketball rather than getting raw numbers
