Game 6 was not a horrific Framber start.. opting to save your leverage relievers namely Pressly for another game with no sense of urgency was a problem. Using Montero and Stanek when the game was within reach when Pressly never pitched another inning was more egregious than pulling Greinke for an all star set up man.

    That is too simple

The Astros were so close, any one of several players and or performances could have made the difference.

Among them are Framber, Tucker, and Pena but also Dusty's insistence of starting Maldy and keeping him in to hit with runners in scoring position and the team desperately needing those runs.

And Dusty letting Dubon (a complete free swinger who does not walk or have any power) hit for himself in the 8th inning of a 2 run deficit game with the bases loaded, 1 out and the pitcher just walked the previous batter. Then pinch hit for Pena with Singleton after he struck out.

Diaz and Chas were both on the bench.

If a walk or flyball scores a run and puts even more pressure on the Rangers then Dubon simply can't hit in that spot. Even Singleton is a better choice there because he has power and walks and then you can use Chas for Pena.

Giving up 3 runs in 4 innings is not good. When your offense is not doing **** at home, that is a problem. The offense was the problem.

Diaz has had a full season of MLB and several years in the minors to show who is. He is a catcher. He is not a DH or PH. But Dusty's stupid ass played him at DH (after barely playing him at all), just so his boyfriend can catch 30 consecutive games.

You know who sucked in the playoffs? Maldonado.

Yeah, other players sucked too, but only one player had a replacement.

In the end, Dusty loses another series as a favorite. It wasn't his first time as Astros manager.

Rangers are loving the fact of how stupid he is.

    F*** Dusty Baker.

    3 runs in 5 innings

That's not good, but you said "decent".

Stop moving the goalpost and get your facts straight.

I'm just so GLAD he is gone. It takes the sting out of losing the ALCS.

Let Dusty keep crying in the media. Guarantee some players are going to start speaking out about the dysfunction. Watch!

You are delusional. This Astros team was not a WS winner. The pitching and hitting was inconsistent.

Dusty's handling of Diaz is one of the dumbest things in the history of sports.

He was Santa Claus for Dallas.

How many player only meetings were there this season when Dusty thought all he had to do is show up an hour before games?

The pitching and hitting is inconsistent when a starting catcher can't hit, frame, or block.

Manager playing a vet catcher over a rookie is not even close to the dumbest thing in sports. You are ****ing idiot.

Was Dusty Baker the grand Marshall at the Rangers' world series parade?
