In all earnesty, Green is not on Sengün's level, Alpe is consistent.

I would put Green below Alpe, and I say that without any disrespect to Green's game.

You see it also when young players are adapting to a new coach, Alpe is reacting more quickly.

I agree, like the team that took Jeremy Lamb for James Harden, or Donte Greene for Ron Artest.

We'll see how fan sentiment towards Jalen changes towards the deadline. If he improves, we all win.

Significant difference in talent, KPJ was better at essentially everything, both suffer from immaturity though. Unfortunately KPJ had a domestic violence incident that ended his career, but that doesn't change the fact that he was always the significantly better player... despite your crush.

Crush? You're hilarious. Always going back to your childish ish. Check my posts. I'm a Rockets fan. The team. That's why I couldn't stand that POS. He was a cancer to the team both on and off the court.

As for Jalen, he had a good game. Shot it well, played hard and finished off the game very strong. It was the 4th freaking game of the year. Which they won BTW AND it was only the 4th game under Udoka. Great time for this ish thread and your ish post.

You give yourself away by being so hilariously emotional.

Yawn..... still too early to panic and trade.

We have no untouchable players at this point.

Throw away the Orlando game where even Ime said, “That was the worst game we’ve played, individually and collectively,” and Jalen's play hasn't been nearly as poor as some are making it out to be :rolleyes:

    Nice post.

With JG and Jabari, it comes down to minimizing the mental mistakes and making shots. They are both trying to play hard and they are both gym rats. Good Rockets basketball is coming.

We also can’t understate how great the starters have been, and how dreadful the bench has been…

You crucified anyone that called out harden for his cancerous behavior and now you're saying this? Jalen actually has a good head on his shoulders.

I honestly don't see any tangible improvement. Didn't check his stats but he may be slightly better from the 3pt line this season than last season but that might be it. It's still early but if he doesn't take a leap during this season at some point yea we shouldn't commit to him. How many "superstars" were inefficient, raw for 3 years and suddenly turn into monsters in their 4th season? I think watching a guy play for 3 seasons under 2 different coaches is more than enough to make a somewhat accurate judgment on his ceiling.

I think you need to do what Miami did w Herro, which is quietly test the market, and then if we don't get the type of return we were looking for then just claim we never were looking to trade him. I would play it slow, and in that time see if something changes in him. Right now, he seems like a miss for where he was drafted and what the expectations were.

The question is if the team should cash in on that unknown potential now, or take the risk of seeing if he ends up being a starter on an NBA team or not. Honestly I do not think the rest of the league values Jalen or Jabari the way we do here, combine that with Stone's history of not getting good returns on trades, we are talking about giving away Jalen for a 7-15 pick in the first round. Just seems like selling way too low. If it was a mistake drafting him where we did, or not trading him for SGA when we were offered selling low would be compounding the mistake. We can always go back to tanking after this year I believe if things dont work out and blow the team up later. I just don't see him actually being moved for decent value currently.

Unfortunately that's not true. Can't tank until 2027.

Rockets owe the thunder their pick this year, top 4 protected, a swap next year top 10 protected and their first rounder in 2026 top 4 protected.

It's a 47.9% chance that the pick would fall at 5 even if they have the worst record making it a coin flip in 2024 and 2026 whether or not you keep your pick.

You do not throw away games....you could just say ignore all the world and only JG exists.

I would rather have Jalen Green Body Type and Straight Legs Over Zion Williamson Overweight Body and Knock Knees waddling up and down the Court as a 6'5 Center.

Jalen Green is very Light and Quick as a Sprinter running down the Court, He has no Stamina Issue.

Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant Body Type is similar to Jalen Green. Jalen Green is still adding Strength and working on Post Up Moves with Hakeem. Jordan and Kobe added post up Moves later in their careers.

The one thing that needs to click with Green is professionalism. That comes with maturity. I think that Ime is the right Coach to pass that on (in regards to his role on the court. . . I don't see him as a moral mentor off the court) and if not Jalen may just always struggle with that.
