Hmm no, Jabari has more length, and has the lateral quickness to switch.

He also is a bit bouncier.

We really don't have to tear down other players, so our favorite player doesn't look as bad. We can just be honest, that is okay.

Jabari does not have more length. They have the same wingspan.
Alp is definitively more bouncy. Jabari is quicker laterally but not by a ton.

And take your own advice, you tear down the best young player on the team for no reason.
I’m a rockets fan, point blank. But no point in just flat out lying about a player like you do

Y'all are confused. Dillon Brooks wasn't asked about defensivee ability in general. He was asked about mental lapses specifically.

Dillon and Ime aren't mad about a guy being below average on defense because his tools are limited. They're mad about unforced errors and inconsistent mentality.

Jabari and Jalen have clearly made the most mental blunders, and been off gameplan the most if you watch the tape. The kind of things that drive veterans and coaching staffs up the wall.

Defensive stats or your own personal judgments about who is better on defense aren't relevant to Dillon's comments.

    lol

Pretty clear this is another lie by habitual liar @larsv8.

There is also a video out there where Bari talks about how Alpi is bigger than he is.

I am not tearing down anybody, its called objectivity.

I like Alpy quite a bit and he very well could be our best young prospect.

He just is a really bad defensive player (and rebounder), and its hard to see how he will meaningfully improve. Trying to pretend otherwise, or make excuses, is not useful for trying to plan out how this teams gets to the next level.

Because somebody has to be the culprit :) Jabari had 1 year of nba experience under Silas, so it is extremely early to judge anything, but seeing basic mistakes, lack of concentration, missing rotations from a player whose strong suit is supposed to be defense is triggering sometimes, particularly when he is also bad on offense.

I think Green is much worse but he gets a pass. It will take some time for him to be a 'not horrible defender'. I am not even saying an average defender.

For both Green and Jabari, it is like they are just drafted, and the thing to check is how they improve this year. No point at complaining now. It is a big red flag if they don't show decent improvement under Ime. I am not worried about Sengun because he improved massively even under Silas.

The wingspan is the same because of Sengun's extremely wide chest -- his arms are actually the same length as FVV.

His neck size helps too. Girth and length.

Neither of those are true. So no, you’re not being objective. Literally nothing backs up your statements

He and Jabari have the same wingspan, with Sengun growing he probably has a longer wingspan now. Arm length is probably identical.

Has Jalen's mumbling caused Sengun's rapid accent?

Unfortunately Jabari had several instances last game where he locked up Lamelo too but no one said a damn thing about it.

But we have people seriously believing that Sengun is better at switching and defending the perimeter...

I am not saying Alp did 'badly' I am saying that Jabari is a better perimeter defender and defends space better and switches better.

They hunt Alp...realize they don't hunt Jabari in the same way.

Its okay to admit that Alp isn't better at everything compared to Green and/or Jabari. I swear.

You’re talking to the wrong one. I don’t put down any of our young guys. You know it’s ok to praise the one playing the best too right? It’s ok I promise.

I was at the game wednesday. he definitely did. And his final box score of 7-15 is no where near indicative of how much he struggled throughout the game. getting trash buckets at the end gives out the false look that he shot well when he really didn't
