You're obsessed dude... give it a rest. We'll probably upgrade at backup center sometime but for now we will have to make it work with 6'11" Jock Landale

After Royce White and KPJ, definitely don't want to deal with another nutcase. The last one did enough damage to our team.

Why are people so risk averse with a 15th man look?

We are literally in the LOOK AT EVERYONE phase until we settle on a core.

Landale probably doesn't even make the team next year - we need more athleticism to compliment Sengun - this kid has some social media issues, but a coach like Ime could help him, IMHO.....if not.....it is a free look at a talented athleted.

And NONE of you know anything about drugs, you all suspect based upon a social media video - judge not lest ye be judged......

WTF is this? I am just a guy on a Rockets board talking Rox and tossing ideas out there, pretty much semi-retired so have a ton of time on my hands....I don't seek attention I seek other fans to discuss ideas and basketball with.....what made you think that?

None of them did any damage - they were just players that we tried out and it didn't work and we moved on....there is literally NOTHING lasting as far as damage goes.

DId Vernon Maxwell cause damage? Did Ron Artest? Eddie Griffin? I mean this whole.....XYZ player causes issues and we can't have that line of thinking is small.....you have to think big to win in the NBA.

Taking shots at troubled players is part of that process, most of the time they don't work out - sometimes they do and you get Draymond Green, or Rasheed Wallace, or Jason Kidd - you can't be afraid of taking on some risk.

If you are a strong leader and IME is - you take a shot - and cut if necessary.

Yep, what a handsome and serious man - do you even do anything other than just post other people's work?

I don't understand why people dont want to at least take a look at someone who could be possibly be an improvement to a clear weakness on our team!

I apologize... I can disagree with you and even think you have wild takes without getting personal... in fact it's one of my pet peeves of the discourse on here at times. Not a good excuse but I think my work stress is getting the best of me

I don't think he sucks. From my understanding, he's only been playing organize basketball a yr or two proor to going to UT Im sure its going to take him longer than the avg prospect.

We will have to agree to disagree here. One bad apple can often be enough to rot everything else. With a team chock full of young, impressionable players, I rather we continue bringing in hard nosed vets.

You are correct in that I have no actual knowledge of drug use. However, if he isn't on drugs, I think his behavior is more concerning, not less. If it's drugs, at least he can get off of them. If he's just that mentally ill - good god.

I just happen to think we have a team full of average players right now and ut wouldn't be a bad idea to look outside to improve your weaker areas.
