Real question here: are modern Kurds the equivalent of pre-modern Jews? I think not since the Kurds are a nomadic people but they are likely an indigenous people to the Iranian plateau (the Medes) as opposed to the majority Persians (Pars). Assyrians too lack a homeland.
I don’t feel strongly about restoration of any single Iron Age Kingdoms. Peoples and boundaries have been in flux since antiquity. Example: The Turks and not Greeks inhabit Anatolia or the German/British inhabit North America and not the tribes.

I always think of this clip when conservatives decry that Universities are “Anti-Israel”.

The UN has a history of ridiculous appointments and inclusions in that area. However, it doesn't change any of the other aspects of the UN. It doesn't change the armed combatants it has disarmed in Ivorian conflict. It doesn't change the humanitarian aid delivered, it doesn't change their work in preventing a growth in combat between India and Pakistan, their mission in Kosovo, etc.

Because you are upset that they keep independent numbers that reflect negatively on Israel, you are seeking ways to discredit them. The better course would be to deal with the issues. Dealing with the best available data doesn't mean you support Hamas or are against Israel.

If you find a better source for more accurate data, I would be happy to look at it.

Which is crap based on UAE, and a few others. Tragedy. You haven't shown why their numbers are inaccurate, or have yet to provide a better source for data.

So was it also Hamas that launched an airstrike in the hospital again?

I’m happy to wait until the fighting is over to get independently verifiable information.

your rush to accept and distribute Hamas propaganda only serves to further demonstrate where your sympathies lie.

If I were eating while that happened, I would probably say “that’s rude”, but I wouldn’t clutch my pearls either and I’d continue eating.

It’s a flag, not a person. People have been tearing down BLM flags and signs for years now. But I wouldn’t try to fight someone for tearing down a flag or sign unless I put it there.

The figures that I posted and are linked in the multiple links I provided were from events where the fighting was over. It is important to take or alter actions now to avoid the loss of further human life, both now and as much as possible in the future.

You've been wrong so many times in this thread, it's difficult to continue the discussion.

    My goals have been clear.
    1. Hamas needs to be eliminated and removed.
    2. Israel and Israelis need a more secure future.
    3. I am in favor of protecting innocent human lives whether they are Israeli or Palestinian.

Nothing that I've posted is contrary to any of those goals.

What doesn't work is the cycle of Hamas terrorism, apartheid conditions for Palestinians, more terrorism, collective punishment from Israel, use of human shields, endless repeat.

That hasn't worked ever. It is what we are seeing happening again at the moment. You cry so loudly that other people are somehow anti-semitic, or supporting Hamas, it seems like you are trying to justify something different to yourself.
