This is highly misleading, what they don't show is that student was filming protestors and doxing them - trying to damage their reputations. Their reaction had nothing to do with him being Jewish, but rather the ACTIONS he was taking.

I wish people would stop posting propaganda of one side or the other.

He was a counter protestor and recorded the pro Palestine crowd which is what triggered them. What evidence do you have he was "doxing" them

If their only two choices are to fight a hopeless war or flee, then yes, they should flee. Clearly the colonists were not fighting a hopeless war against the British, as they won. Not only did they win, but the resulting free United States is the most powerful country in the world.
The Jews who fled Nazi Germany made a good choice as compared to the ones who remained and died in the Holocaust. The Jews in Germany (and Poland, and eastern Europe) had not been attacking Germany for 60 years at the time of WWII, so they were not engaged in a hopeless war, they were rounded up and slaughtered by a genocidal regime. Not a perfectly analogous situation. Even there, leaving was clearly the better option.
In practical terms, fleeing is preferable to meaningless suicide.

Are you implying there is something wrong with filming protesters and letting others know who they are? What in the world do you find wrong with that? And how does that justify the actions and behavior of this angry mob?

Yeah he wasn't "doxing" anyone. He literally recorded the pro Palestinian crowd and videod everyone's face which is what triggered the pro hamas crowd.

There's no evidence he was "doxing" anyone

There is a guy on Meta’s Threads app posting images of people ripping down postings of the kidnapped Israelis, offering $1,000 for information to dox them. It could be disinformation campaign, but it’s definitely inflammatory.

What does that have to do with that protestor that got harrased? What's the correlation exactly. I can find you 100x pro hamas accounts that are doing what you're talking about on Twitter.

What's your point. Are we a barabic nation now where we attack everyone based off someone else's actions.

Anyone defending the deranged pro hamas crowd harassing someone taking a video has lost touch with reality

It’s to point out that emotions are high and people are angry to the point of inciting violence despite being actually unaffected.

“Today, I observed another adult doing something which didn’t materially affect me or anyone else but didn’t align with my personal preferences.

Then, I continued on with my day.

I didn’t even tell them what I thought about it.

I just went right on with my day.

    It was wild.”

This split passion was not duplicated with Armenia vs Azerbaijan, or any other major regional conflict.

I am STATING that portraying these protestors as attacking someone for being Jewish is a lie. How hard is that to understand?

That's pretty hard to understand, seeing as how they did attack him for being Jewish. I doubt they would have attacked you or me for filming the protest. They didn't attack any of the other people who were filming. People get attacked and harassed for being Jewish as evidenced by a multitude of other incidents nationwide and worldwide. Is that so hard to understand? People would never attack someone for just being Jewish lol.

Do you hear yourself right now? Because some guy online is offering money for photos of pro Palestine means somehow that this guy was selling his videos to that guy? You have zero evidence of that and you sound crazy for trying to tie the two together without evidence

Everyone has lost their damn minds

Yeah bullshit. You wanna give them the benefit of the doubt that doesn't exist. You have absolutely zero evidence that particular guy was doxing anyone.

I'm sure they totally didn't attack the counter protestor for being pro Israel.

I was making a tangential post to say I personally saw efforts to dox people caught on video committing anti-Israel actions in the US based. I am not commenting about what's going on at Harvard.

Again. Yes those people doxing folks should be charged and thrown in prison. That has absolutely nothing to do with this instance where they harrased this guy for him taking videos. You have no evidence that particular guy was doxing folks.

I'm a Muslim and I remember the harassment I felt post 9/11. I got called towelhead and all sorts of racial slurs. Whether it be Jews or Muslims harassing and attacking someone based on their identity is wrong.
