JGreen was in the Head honcho's wagon last year. The team needs him and hopefully no more toxic player around.
Sengun in four games is clearly our best player so far. He is #1 in points and rebounds, #2 in assists and TS%. If he keeps this up, he can be an all star this season.
If he could start hitting his FTs, he'd be averaging over 20 ppg. If the Rockets improve to near a .50 record, a 20+/9-10/6+ line should get him some serious All Star consideration.
Do they select two centers to the all-star team? I forgot how it works. Otherwise, hard to get past Jokic of course lol.
Yeah, I know it's small sample size but his FT being worse than last year is really weird. I'm expecting it to trend back to the 70-71% he usually shoots. But his 3 ball has looked better (so far) in this short season
We really need him to practice free throws (with Ben Sullivan?) and just improve his mental focus in these situations. He averaged more than 80 % in his MVP season at 18 years old in Turkey. There is really no reason and no excuse that he shouldn't get to at least 75 % in the NBA.
His FT shooting in Turkey was the reason why I thought he would become a decent shooter during the draft. I hope he shoots 75%+ because then he will go from a 20 to 25+ points scorer instantly.
Really enjoyed Alpi's performance last night. Favourite play obviously that poster off the 2 man game with Green, lost count of how many times I've rewatched it and bragged on it with the few basketball fans at my work. Some sexy lil passes along the way. I feel like they need to give him more cutters in actual plays. All 3 of Green, Amen and Cam should be able to do what KJ did and more in that respect, we're way too athletic to not have a ton of cutting slams to the basket, and Sengun can deliver those passes with the best of them.
