ClutchFans Game Thread: Hornets @ Rockets 11/1/2023

Little by little all our young players are starting to develop under a real coach with a real scheme. Love it.

 

I love DIllon Brooks.

 

We hit 21 3's and still needed to pray we could beat this sorry team. lol. Thank God for Fred and Brooks this game. We still don't have much good interior D or ability to box anybody out, but I'll take the win. Hopefully Amen isn't out for too long. I'm still pulling for the return of high tops.

 

Good game but hornets are terrible so i'm cautiously happy.

Did you watch the game? He got duty fouled by Charlotte which bumped up his stats. Those aren't exactly hard to do anybody could have made those fts.

If you actually watched the game and not just box score hunting you'd know Green played bad.

 

green played well not the majority of the game but for a good chunk of it, stop hating.

We got a win, everybody chipped in

 

What a great performance. Every one of the starting 5 scored at least 17 points. The load was shared and we got our first win

 

70% Fg and 60% 3pt.

Only thing he's really screwing up is he lapses on defense sometimes but more than that...

Has no idea what to do with a smaller player on him. SL and Preseason he knew to just shoot over them, it's a open shot, but he's not been taking that shot even when the team keeps seeing the mismatch and expecting him to take it.

 

I couldn’t care less. His TS% was .6. .5 from 3. And he was clutch.

 

The key to the Rockets winning is shooting 58% from 3. If Ime is any good as a coach, he will tell them to shoot 58+% for the rest of the season.

 

No NBA game is easy

 

Due to all those fts Charlotte gave him at the end. Anybody could have taken those fts even me.

Nah there was no praying involved. We just played solid, high effort basketball and won. Something we never did last year, by the way.

The ball movement to get good looks was pretty good

 

Jalen still needs to show me something…he’s still looking like he did most of last year

 

It's incredible that we made 10 more threes but only won by 9.

 

He shot .5 from 3, had a .6 TS%, and sealed the game. Sorry you don’t know ball.
