And they still wonder how he completely changed the most dangerous country in latin america to one of the current safest.... Before he started throwing criminals in jail he started by removing all the corrupt politicians from office, these mother f*ckers would only show up to congress once a week to collect their checks and talk $hit.... That's basically all they did, collect money from the tax payers and talk $hit on Bukele thinking they could convince an entire country that Bukele was a dictator and that he would destroy the already crime riddled country. All these politicians he removed remind me a lot of the current democrats and many republicans... They are worthless, all they are doing is getting rich off of our backs and creating the must stupid policies and laws this country has ever seen. It does not affect them because they don't live in any of the places they set their policies and laws at.

Haha, you guys can have El Salvador. Good luck with that.

Have walked about 8 miles in the gorgeous city of SF over the last few days. Streets full of kids and families and of course dogs in hilarious H'ween costumes. Long chats with my neighbors on sidewalks. Castro St. re-opened their famous Halloween party last night for the first time in years. Maybe that's what's scaring some of the narrative-driven conservative talking heads.

With organized retail crime increasing, Texas forms task force to combat it

John McCord, the Texas Retail Association Executive Director, said that the task force is being implemented to get ahead of the curve before it reaches those levels.

"In 2021, retailers lost about $94.5 billion in product,” he said. “…[R]etailers say that these incidents are getting increasingly violent. So while stopping the incidents or stopping the resale of items,
is incredibly important. It’s also important that we get ahead of it before the theft actually takes place."

The Task Force consists of a combination of representatives from retailers – Amazon, eBay, H-E-B, and several others – along with several law enforcement and state agencies.
