He doesn't seem to know how investigations work. Especially this many of them and the enormous scope of them...not to mention that it's about a freaking former President. so maybe they want to be extremely thorough and make sure they have everything and enough. It's not like he murdered someone and was standing there with the gun in front of a cop who was wearing a camera.
Trump 's 2024/2028/2032 campaign started on January 20, 2020, so definitionally he is being prosecuting during his Presidential campaign. And Trump has opted out of being tried quickly. He has delayed at every point. Thus, he is half of the reason that 3 of his cases (GA, Jan 6 federal, documents) will happen in 2024.

Word on The Street is that Trump has hand edited the US Constitution with a black sharpie. The Presidential Record Act says Trump can do that, so he did. The new Constitution now says Trump must be on all ballots and that only voter ballots marked for Trump will be counted.
