Alpi had 5 rebounds but Green had 9? I counted 3 missed rebounds by Alpi, where he was initially switching out on the perimeter then 2 more when he was boxing out. It's harder to track the ball when he was not in his usual position . I thought Green did an excellent job tracking those. He is one of the better rebounding big men for his age with an off night rebounding. Playing more minutes than ever for the first time in this league. He will average 9-12 by the end of the season.
Jabari had a bad game and SOF's had a field day. No exceptions for Sengun he needs to step up his defense, rebounding, dumb fouls & turnovers
To be honest, I really just kind of feel sorry for you. You clearly take Sengun criticism very personally. On top of being limited intellectually, you obviously are dealing with some form of emotional issues. I need to remember to wear the kid gloves. He is really strong in other areas. We can be honest about that. It's going to be okay, the tears aren't necessary.
But isn't it really unhelpful both ways? Both are our young talented players. Let's look at the bigger picture for both of them. Positive signs in the preseason and opening 3 games. A win is just around the corner
Okay, so you got detailed data that refutes your claims, and as expected, you pretend it doesn't exist and you repeat your made up lies and the best you can come up with is some pathetic psycho babble. Shows that you are just biased, and that you cannot take your public embarrassment like a man and simply admit that you were wrong. Happened to you before, so I guess you are used to being embarrassed.
I am perfectly fine. Noted that since you have been proven wrong, you are trying to resort to childish off-topic personal attacks. You got nothing.
So because some post negatively about Jabari, those people are retaliating with dumb posts about Alpi. Petty.
Jabari white knights usually get loud on off days. Watching Clutch try to get rid of Sengun on RW yesterday was hilarious again.
He's been one of the better rebounders in the league since he came in. One bad rebounding game cuz he spent the entire game guarding the perimeter doesn't say he's bad. Rebounding is about the team and positioning. Everyone needs to box out their man. Sengun isn't the most athletic player so you can't give people free runs to the rim cuz they will out jump him. Oh by the way he had 0 turnovers...
Jabari also had a bad game a few nights ago. I'm sure he's been working out all offseason & was fatigued, does he get the same excuses for a bad night?
Yes. But it's the SOF's pushing negative narratives about other players, but making excuses for Sengun. Balance is needed
Ppl still lust for lob threats while the days of Drummonds, DeAndre Jordans, Whitesides are OVER. Some Rockets fan were unironically wanting us to get Capela couple months ago. These people can not be saved ofc they will wet their pants dreaming of Duren. That dude's entire offense is dunking the ball while Sengun is much more than that. If he loses his athleticm to an injury he'll turn into a fuc.king scrub. He's even more limited than Mobley offensively. Mobley has good post moves and occasionally makes 3s, middies. Duren needs to be spoonfed to score points.
Basically, he said there were a lot of positives from the GSW game when Sengun was on the bench and the Rockets were switching everything on defense, and that should be the way going forward.
Does he know that the reason why we lost is 1) The weak bench and 2) The fact that we are 29% from behind the arc? Our starters, best players, can't make 3s so even when we are good we can never outscore them and when we do it's 5 pts tops. Then bench comes in since they are even worse shooters overall worse players we can't hold on to our 5 point lead. Our discussions have to revolve around our poor shooting. When x was playing we looked good when y was sitting we looked bad doesn't mean anything in grand scheme of things. X MIGHT help us close the quarter slightly better than y does once in 5 games sure but bench will **** us regardless. Poor rebounding etc. they might be problems that contribute to our losses but they should be our 5th, 6th priorities when we are bricking 3s.
