This 50 year old kid has forgotten more about Houston sports than you will ever know. Hopkins is a #1 WR on most teams still. His big plays were to Hopkins. As we said with Stroud, let’s see him progress over multiple games.
No he’s not. Hopkins hasn’t been a number 1 in 3 years, he’s well into his 30s now coming off PED suspension. He’s not a number 1 guy on most teams anymore. He’s good as a solid number 2
Really. LOL. I saw Oilers games in the Astrodome in 1979 and Astros games in early 80s. Even saw Rockets games in the Summit in the 80s. HSE and 20vison.
This is my fear as well. The Titans may have picked the best QB in the 2023 draft and they got him in the second round. Meanwhile we are committed to Stroud for the next several years, and honestly at this point, I don't see him ever being a top 10 QB in the league. With additional experience and weapons, I think he could evolve into an average NFL quarterback. Not bad, but short of expectations at #2 overall in the draft. I also feel like the Texans preferred Levis but when the trial balloon was floated, McNair didn't like the fans' reactions. Should have taken the better QB and overruled the fans. Leaders need to act with conviction and make the right choice even when it's unpopular. Cal, take note.
He is #1 on the Texans, Panthers, Giants, Jets, Steelers, Browns (Cooper underachieved), Packers, Saints, Washington, Ravens, and Falcons off the top of my head.
I feel like that performance today was somehow karma-driven for those of you in this thread that wouldn't stop poking cmoak after he finally admitted he was wrong about Stroud. Instead of letting the whole thing die this thread kept getting revived and now everyone has to eat a ****-sandwich shaped like Will Levis in a throwback Oilers uniform. Not my favorite.
The point is you don’t have a clue what you are saying. Enjoy Mayo boy’s debut. Go to the Titans’ reddit and embrace their circle jerk and see what happens with Levis over the next 3 weeks. If he continues to be good, you can gloat.

I know LOL! Its wild how Houston fans have been beaten down to the point where we all end up dying on strange hills. With Levis it shouldnt take a QB whisperer to notice that side arming 50 yard laser TD throws is not routine. Having a RB who averages 5 yards per carry sure helps, but Will Levis had a perfect start to his career. I hate it because he's in our division and now we're matching up with Lawrence, AR, and Levis for the next decade, but as a fan of the sport I can tip my cap.
