They don't have the playmakers to run the WCO like the Dolphins, 49ers etc.... I mean Collins and Dell are decent weapons but there's nobody that strikes fear into defenses. That doesn't include the fact that Singletary is the best RB on the team. That I itself is an issue.

That so called midget just beat the Texans and out performed our QB, who I think is very good, in every stat in the game even after being sacked 6 times. Again, every team has an off day. Do you think a 2-5 Denver Broncos team is multiple TDs better than the Kansas City Chiefs? Sorry, but if you are telling me you thought this team had a shot at the playoffs prior to the season, I don’t believe you. I get you are upset because the midget you criticized so much beat you but get over it and stop being a baby about a single game.
Doesn’t feel to me like Young played better than Stroud. Carolina’s play calling was much more aggressive with trying to take shots. He still lived off the dink and duck type of style. He also felt largely blah athletically when the Texans respected rushing lanes. Stroud made more wow throws. Stat line says one thing, but again I don’t feel it was some huge difference.
He is definitely in love with the run. The worst part about that is that there are 25 running backs in the league with more yards AND more yards per carry than Pierce.
They will be fine, they had a bad game after a bye and they will learn from it. I think the bye was to early and killed some momentum and Slowek tried to get to cute. They have to try and run the ball, Titus cant pull to save his butt, he stands around not knowing who to hit. Were still in a rebuild and there will be some bumps in the road, when everyone was screaming last week that we could make the playoffs I think that was a bit premature but this is an "Over Reaction Monday"....................in the words of the magic mushroom man A Aron R-E-L-A-X
Feelings aren't facts. Young was under more duress than CJ completed more passes, had a higher completion percentage, had more total yards and averaged more yards per completion.
Yeah, and stats don't always tell the whole story either. One guy routinely was throwing on first down while the other was having to push the ball down the field on second/third in long. We will have to agree to disagree on this one. I thought Young played a little better just due to effectiveness of their short yardage routes, but then again, he took a ton of sacks and that killed their offense. He put up 15 points and his only Touchdown drive was aided by special teams and penalties. Young's athleticism hasn't translated to the NFL and I would be worried if I was a Carolina fan. My biggest concern is Stroud's offensive coordinator doing a better job of putting him in better situations. The RB's averaged 3.2 yards a carry. 2 of those runs were over 10+ yards in which they had to make multiple people miss in the backfield. Constantly being in second and third in long is a recipe for disaster. This team needs to resemble more of the Dolphins than it does itself. Miami threw the ball 45 times yesterday in a 2 TD win.
This is 2 losses we Should Have won to go with 1 loss we Could Have won. As frustrated as I am this morning, It's a learning experience more than a way of life. And the one thing I feared was concentrating on what was obviously broken to the exclusion of doing what we do best.
Listen I really like CJ and glad he is our QB but your take is completely biased. You blame the problems CJ had on the OC but the problems Young had on Young and not his crappy OL or lack of playmakers around him. Secondly, this team in no way could resemble the Dolphins. They are loaded with playmakers all over the field and the Texans aren't close.
Fair Points. I also would bring in the growing pains which accompany even the best rookies, both on and off the field. It's much easier to cover for 2 or 3 rookies when surrounded by players experienced in the system. But 9 or 10 rookies and veterans new to the current system will cause games like this, as much as I hoped to avoid them.
Texans have 3 pretty good playmakers. Once again, they should resemble the Dolphins more than the version of themselves. There two wins against good teams this year, they were more pass oriented than run oriented. Slowik is holding the QB back. In regards to Young. I don't think he played that well. His only TD drive was aided by penalties and a special teams play. When he was put in obvious passing situations he wasn't good. Easier to play QB throwing on first down then 2nd/3rd and long.
Dreamt we went into Carolina with a smashmouth style attack like we had Shaun Alexander and the 2004 Seahawks line. It ended badly.
Second game this year already lost due to overly conservative play calling and relying on a horrendous run game. Almost was three games if the defense didn't make a couple big stops against NO. I'd rather put the ball in Stroud's hands more and live and die that way. I'd be nice if we had a good RB but we simply don't.
Need a RB with better vision. Pierce is a battering ram who barely uses the flow of the OL to modify the running lane. We need a Bijan Robinson type of back for this offense.
Bro relax, you're either arguing with a drunk guy from yesterday tripping on DeMeco pussing out of a 58 yard field goal or you're arguing with yourself. I watched the game, I know how Brice performed, I'm on to Tampa Bay
Been saying this since training camp, Nick's biggest deficiency is rb evaluation, why the **** was Dare on this roster so ****ing long, we've had **** running backs his entire tenure, it makes sense why New England always went rb by committee, Nick kept acquiring backs without multiple skill sets, Belichick had no choice.
