Ya the amount of vitriol people have for Bari over a unfounded one line sentence is kinda absurd. Sengun fans like me with Green can get a bit too sensitive.
we just want to see jabari make some jumpers. he was supposed to have transcendent shooting ability and it's literally his biggest liability.
It happened, but it's no big deal. Anyone who played any team sport at any level would understand that. I remember telling worse things to my teammates and being told worse things from my teammates as well; we even had physical altercations at times. But it's perfectly normal. Especially when you are constantly losing.
Based on what? It's literally a random eyewitness report from a fan. No one else reported it and the source is only this one guy claiming he heard it. I agree it's not a big deal either way but that doesn't mean it should be conceded that it happened. If it did, you would have had other reports and it would have been picked up by media.
Jabari pointing at Sengun and telling something to Silas was seen on the broadcast and the dude who tweeted that had absolutely no incentive to lie about it.
I just saw Jabari say he has to do better because he's a focal point LMAO half the league doesn't even know you exist
He doesn't even have to be lying, he could have misheard what was said or misplaced something being said directed at someone or something else. It's a stadium with constant chatter going on. I'm just saying, this is the kind of thing that media would latch on to for drama clicks. It's odd that only one person heard this and the only source is this one tweet. I do agree that even if it is said it doesn't matter. Sengun and most players are not this soft. Players on the same team trash talk and confront each other all the time.
“Get his ass off the court” is not trash talk nor is it confronting Alpi. It’s blatant disrespect, and while Alpi can certainly take it (he endured two seasons of disrespect from Silas), the incident is extremely illuminating about Jabari’s character.
Your still not addressing that the only evidence of this happening is one tweet. Don't get fans who actively root against their own players, it's just very odd for me.
I will give him until the end of the season before I completely write him off given how pathetic the coaching staff was last year but I would not be surprised if you are right.
Anyone can turn things around under the right system or right coach or he might be a late bloomer and we are judging him too early. Jabari might turn into a decent bber somewhere else in 2030 but he's undoubtedly a bust at this moment and we don't live in 2030.
