If we end up getting Buzelis it'll surely be top 4. Our pick is top 4 protected. This draft kinda sucks though.
Honestly, the people who think we are playoff caliber or even play-in caliber are delusional. We will be praying for top 4 lotto when it’s all said and done. Ime cannot overcome Stone’s poor GMing in one season.

Since you're new, we usually don't post those threads until near the end of the season when we know we're out of competition or know we're tanking. Last few years, we were also supposedly tanking. But hey, you go right ahead. Can't wait to see this thread bumped by all the knowledgeable fans.
Hmmm. So first it was "this shouldn't be in the GARM" and now it's "this should be in the GARM but at a later date." Also, for what it's worth, the Wemby thread was started October 19th last year and the Scoot thread was started in November. I'm just fulfilling my promise in posting this thread. I'm a man of my word. I also fully expect it to die and only be bumped much later in the season. That's what should happen. This is the internet, man. It's not serious business. It's just a thread on a basketball bbs. Really, this thread was meant for levity more than anything else as everyone is pretty much jumping off a cliff right now. I honestly don't know a damn thing about Matas other than his alleged height and position. But hey, at least this isn't another thread about KPJ or how disappointed someone is in our young guys.
There's been about as much discussion in that forum since you've joined 24 years ago as there is in the GARM weekly.
The 2024 pick is top 4 protected, the 2025 swap is top 10 protected the 2026 pick is again to 4 protected. All that out of the way, I was really hoping to take Tankathon off my front page and not have to pray for lottery balls to fall our way.. I'm sick of ****ing tanking.
I believe they have a 48% chance of having our pick if we finish in the bottom 4. Is that correct? I know it's a top 4 protected pick so it's the same odds we had when we got Jalen Green.
I both think the Rockets will be much better than last year (despite the early struggles) and be in the lottery. The West is tough this year and we are widely expected to miss the play in - even if we don't tank. Paying attention to the lottery doesn't mean we are rooting for a Tank. The team isn't ready to win yet. We might have two lottery picks if the Nets struggle. I must admit to checking out the 2024 NBA mock drafts in the second half of the Orlando game.
