CJ has to do better than this -- poor performance today against an awful team. Professionals have to bring their best every week.
100% Slowik's Loss! It's losses like this that keeps the Texans from getting respect. What's the point of having Tank Dell return to only be targeted 4 times the entire game, and to rush for 3 carries? Collins and Dell, our best wide receivers were only targeted a combined 10 times the entire game. Why???????????????? I'm so frustrated, disgusted, and disappointed right now. I hate this feeling. I can't believe how conservative Slowik decided to play these past two weeks. Today was a complete failure for Slowik. Too many stupid running plays. Far too few plays airing that ball down the field. It's just maddening to see his play calling! I wish he was fired today. He deserves to be. What's the point of drafting CJ #1 to play him like some useless 3rd round QB? I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. Slowik is so hellbent in trying to prove he can turn this team into a rushing threat. It's total disrespect to CJ's abilities of slinging that ball downfield when you'd prefer to run 3 yards.
Houston Sports since the Astros came home last Sunday up 3-2 in the ALCS. Astros proceed to get outscored 20-6 over those two games to lose the series. The Rockets come back only to get smacked Game 1 and choke their 2nd game. Texans lose to the 0-6 Panthers

I honestly don't know why I'm so damn pissed off at Slowik. It feels like I've been lied to base on the 2 or 3 games where the offense looked amazing....then suddenly it flipped 180 and becomes another BoB/Lovie offense. Feels like a slap on the face of Texans fans.
Final avg for all the backs, 25 carries for 3.28 Yards. Today's passers need rhythm just never saw that because they were forcing other things. Maybe everything changes if Stroud hits Nico Deep on the first possession. But even in the 2 long runs by Pierce and Singletary, they had to spin move out of 2 defenders in the backfield. It's ridiculous. Don't stop trying to run the ball, just stop forcing it.
What did he do poorly today? He missed a throw to Collins. Can’t hit everything. Had some balls tipped. Didn’t turn the ball over. Feels like he didn’t have much opportunity in my opinion.
Their offense was trash yeah, the only time they scored were off the backs of penalties. Panthers had NO business winning today. This loss sucks, it should have been an easy and comfy feel good win that put the Texans on the map...but the OC had to have his little running game so here we are. I'm actually glad the Panthers won this game long term. We're learning what the OC is about and if he's able to make adjustment based on the personnel he has or if he's a stubborn coach that's going to continue to try fitting a square peg into a round hole. Unfortunately, so far, it seems he's the latter. He's determined to manufacture a running game that the team is clearly incapable of having. Everyone but him sees its not going work. We averaged a paltry 3 yards per carry today but you'd think we have the Cowboys Oline and Christian McCaffrey with how we call plays. Think this one will keep us out of the playoffs, the other division teams won't lose to the Panthers. If we miss the playoffs by one game this will be the one.
This loss today was too unacceptable. It just embarks why it's unhealthy to put your heart into this franchise.

Have you noticed Slowik has stopped throwing the ball when Tunsil and Howard came back? This is not a run blocking line, it is designed for pass protection.
