If an adversarial military told me to evacuate the hospital I am working in because they’re going to blow it up. I am going to stay and die in that hospital. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-middle-east-67246761 Doctors and the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza say Israel has told them to evacuate a key hospital in Gaza City There are 400 patients being treated inside Al-Quds hospital and moving them is impossible, the organisation says Around 14,000 civilians are also understood to be sheltering in the hospital and its grounds
They are staying because humans are telling this Imagine if it was AI powered robots People would run
Give it another 20 years and our squabbles over race religion and culture will seem quaint when AI powered androids are hunting down humanity who refused to be enslaved.
Good Humanity has always needed something to worship or control their thoughts The holy land is basically dirt and dirt is the same everywhere but the whole conflict is human beings attaching themselves to culture and land for tribal and identification reasons we’re at the beginning of AI warfare think about it, why risk my life when I can send a machine to destroy my enemies
the analogy was in reference to the poster's thinking..so I'm sitting here pretty confused at what you have drummed up. How said posters thinking is translated "x" , then "y" etc is like pretty crazy. The fact that several mental hoops were jumped through right there shows what I am referring to. Its like nobody is willing to sit and listen anymore. They hear one word and go on some emotional rant At no point did I ever say anything to the effect of, probably the last 3 posts I've been quoted in. So I'll presume its a misunderstanding but any more and its going to be kind of hard to gloss over the fact that perhaps the rhetoric is being used to justify mass atrocities. Also by that logic, Netanyahu funded hammas. He was probably their biggest advocate. Wouldn't it be easier to paint the people supporting Bibi as hammas supporters than an innocent 5 year old kid in a hospital? Notice how that rhetoric is absent. I want to see evil detroyed, aka hammas...but not in a self-sabotaging sort of way like it currently is. Prior wars on terror have taught us this. If not, we need to stop teaching history
same. abandoning patients, injured and wounded kids is pretty cowardly. Unfortunately, one or two of the posters here are advocating for killing 2 million people in an ehtnic type cleansing, with no differentiation between babies being born, healthcare workers saving lives, and kids getting surgeries, cancer care.
Some of you all are more upset at Russian civil disorder than actual people being indiscriminately killed. I hope Dagestan causes nothing but chaos for Russia.
Israel isn't going to kill all 2 million Gazans. They have been warning civilians to leave. They have to do what they have to do to eliminate the threat. Hamas hides behind civilians. Israel fights to protect its civilians. That's the difference.
To be clear, this is mainstream thinking for a large percentage of people in the Muslim world. They either celebrated or had zero compassion when over 1,000 Jews got murdered. Hundreds of thousands of them are out on the streets, demanding more Jewish blood (under the guise of "free Palestine" - give me a break - they don't give a damn about "Palestine"). But leftist people in the West get outraged at Israel defending itself, instead of supporting them against this existential threat. It's truly mind-boggling.
I fully expect the IDF, equipped with F35s and JDAMs, to succeed in conventional war against any of the adjacent Iranian-backed militias. I would fully expect them to succeed even if they were armed with horses and bayonets. Guerrilla tactics are useful for repelling invaders, not being the invader.
