    I actually don't really know. But Will Ferrell hates the director for letting Reilly have a role he wanted.

    Short version:

    When Adam McKay was casting the HBO Lakers series Winning Time, Ferrell really wanted to play Jerry Buss. McKay went with John C Reilly instead, and didn't tell Ferrell, who found out from Reilly.

    It's JR High level stuff.

    Anchorman, Old School, Elf and Step Brothers are classic. Talladega Nights has its moments (the prayer scene at the dinner table). Not sure there's another Ferrell comedy I like.

    John C. Reilly is amazing in pretty much everything he does.

    You’d think Ferrell could understand that Reilly is 100x the actor he is.
