2 TOs for Malik already. He is too careless.

Murphy just needs to hand the damn ball off in this game.

    Even his completions look bad.

Did the corner even know it was 4th and 2?

Both TOs were due to complete ****ups by the pass protection. But you're not wrong.

The TD pass he threw into low orbit may have been the highest successful non hail mary I've ever seen.

It annoys me that when the broadcasts list the great UT RBs, they all consistently leave out Priest Holmes

The K St. game next week is gonna be a major problem if Ewers is still out.

This offense is one dimensional as hell today.

Sark letting ego get in the way of doing the smart thing.

FG puts you up 3 scores and likely ends this game. I'm not too worried about BYU coming back, but that was a stupid call.

Calling a TO and then coming up with the Power-I, NT as the FB, 2 TE, and then run it right up the middle from the 2 is more inexplicable than going for it.

Sark needs to get a new 4D playbook

I think it’s more about helping the team execute in future games. You don’t need the points. Better to get the experience of executing a 4th down.

Given how Sideshow Bob the Kicker has executed on 4th down, he may have needed the experience more than Murphy.

You're not wrong, either, but Malik needs to know when to take the L on a play.

ONE MISSISSIPPI F**K is not a thing that works.

His biggest problem was throwing off his back foot while backing away from the line, which was never a thing before, he put his body into throws and had serious velocity and accuracy. Too many throws were just lobbed around. Was it first game jitters after getting blasted in the teeth 3 times on the first 2 series? I dunno.

I also don't think he was ever intentionally moved out of the pocket on a pass today. Extra week of practice, I'm hoping there's some more stuff for KState next week.

I noticed his passes were softer, too. In his garbage time from earlier in the season, he would laser all his passes, even the check downs. Receivers seemed to have trouble catching those fast balls, so maybe the coaches want him to tone it down a little. But quite a few balls were lofted and nearly picked, so Malik needs to figure out when to laser a pass or give it some touch.

At least he could afford to make those mistakes this game where the defense clearly outclassed BYU's offense. It's valuable experience for him. Fortunately, K-State is another home game. Malik didn't seem to have much confidence issues throughout the game, but starting on the road against a decent opponent would be a lot tougher.

Terrible call but think it was more about lining up and seeing if you can pound out a TD after being very inconsistent in the red zone all season. Evidently we cannot.

That's the vibe that I was getting too. Our defense was pulling through. Get as many reps as we can on these 4th downs.
