Worst rebounding team after 2 games and in the lower tier among blocks. Forcing TOs and Fouls are somewhat encouraging. Steals are close to league average. If someone can track Transition Defense, that would be helpful. 26th in Points Allowed. 24th in Points Scored. 22th in 3 point percentage 6th in Opponents 3 pt percentage 13th in FG percentage 20th in Opponents FG percentage 17th in FG Attempts 17th in Opponents FG Attempts 17th in 3 point Attempts 16th in Opponents 3 Pt Attempts https://www.espn.com/nba/stats/team
Yeah, we've needed a shotblocker/rebounder in the worst way. Stone's refusal to address this so far has surprised me. That said, I'm assuming it gets handled by the deadline. That's too far away though.
Too small a sample size to tally stats right now. Wait 10, at least 5 games. So far we were non competitive with the Magic, and damn near evenly matched with the Spurs. If you were to try to take away anything, that might say we’re in the running to be one of the worst teams in the league again.
This team barely knows each other with all the new guys, it will probably take 10-20 games to gauge their potential. Wins could be in the 20’s if Jalen and Jabari don’t get it together. 30-35 if they do.
No. It's been going on for years, last yr, the yr before that and before that. We just never seemed to address the Center/PF position.
If Jabari could be 1/2 of a Locksmith, It would change everything. Still 2nd year so I'm not giving up on him. Right now he is a wire coat hanger
I think the perimeter D has been better but I do agree there is no flow. It looks rough. The biggest problem is interior defense.
I believe Ime will have no patience with Jabari, if Jabari still timid and no confidence he will start Tari. Tari and Dillion would be great perimeter defenders and I would start Jabari on the bench and have Jeff Green and Jabari as our bench WING PLAYERS! we need Lockdale stay on the bench and trade Brooklyn FRP and Bullocks for ROBERT WILLIAMS III with Portland WE NEED ROBERT WILLIAMS …,NOW
No. Im correct on this one. As I have been in the past. The Rockets need to decided what type of team they want and which direction they want to go in. I feel as though thats the reasoning for the loses. If you look at Toronto as they were building there team before they won the championship. They were not great scores but they were all great defenders. Our problem is we have good wing defenders but Jabari and Sengun are not good interior defenders. Also, Im starting to think Jabari would be better served as a SF, rather than a PF. The only way he's effective at the PF is if he's playing alone side of a big center, similar to what he did in college
