Don't see any reason to be posting concerns about Sengun's free throw shooting. He shot 71% each of his first two seasons. Obviously just small sample size issues only 2 games into the season.

For the same reason though, we sadly can't assume he will be able to continue averaging nearly 20/11/7. Sure would be nice though.

He can start on a championship contender team is all that matters.

The main difference between Sengun and other players (except FVV, Brooks) is that Sengun's mentality is very strong and he does not get stuck in moments. The reason why Jabari missed that open shot and free throws was that he was blocked by Wemby a few positions ago. He couldn't get out of that position and you can see here how dull his facial expression could be. He shouldn't have stayed on the court in overtime. He had finished the game in his head. Wemby then blocked Sengun as well, but Sengun continued playing as if nothing had happened.

Jabari as tall as he is looks like a small kid next to Boss Sengün.

Actually, look at this video, don't we have these people who say Jabari is 6'11 and Sengun is 6'9?

Yes by far, anyone who says no is misreading the situation imo. The only reason he hasnt been more successful is touches. He still deserves more. Think about what he is doing at the age he is doing it, check history people who do that are future superstars.

After just 2 games...Right now I'd say Vanvleet followed by Brooks. Sengun is the third best.

Yeah I noticed that last night too. Jabari looked really small for what the respective heights are supposed to be. In all honesty, to my eyes Green looks taller than 6'4, and is probably near 6'5/6'6, if not then Amen's barely taller than him so he's not the height people claim he is either. Jabari also doesn't look anywhere near 6-7 inches taller than Green. I'd say Green's around 6'5, Amen 6'6-7, Bari's about 6'9 and Sengun's about 6'10.5 (he looked smaller than some 6'11/7' guys in preseason.)

We really have to lean into him as the core of the offense and build actions off of that.....we have to start somewhere and Alpi on the block is our best bet atm.

VanVleet is the best player currently, Alpi could be by year end.

Jabari is 6'11 but Sengun is not 6'9 as everyone said. He is strictly 7'0 at least. Since his legs are a little short and he wears long shorts, he looks shorter on the TV. He is actually much longer than he looks.

I do now, and I don't think that's really a good thing. I think he's 1 and 1a with VanVleet, and FVV isn't a guy we're gonna build around long term.

Of the young potential stars on our roster he has the most fatal flaws when it comes to building a team around him. The season just started so you don't want to make big sweeping generalizations, Green and Smith don't look like they've grown at all and Sengun looks better than ever. I think his only problem is that he doesn't force it enough and tries too hard to be team player.

I keep hoping to see Green take the next step, but as of right now he's clearly not as valuable a player as Sengun, even with Sengun's major flaws.

Yes, currently, but he's not the Rockets player with the highest ceiling. However, there is a good chance he will remain the best player on the Rockets, since the higher potential players are a huge work in progress.

Do JG+Jabari have a higher ceiling than 25-12-8…

It seems like people online are still upset that Alpi can't stay with his match up at the three point line and get back to the paint to contend guards, all while flying back to the three point line to pick up Sochan and Collins.
