Charlotte and maybe the spurs? Statistically speaking. Those are our best shots This is a brutal opening schedule. Rocket River
Spurs is over. Charlotte is a moody team, they cannot defend but their Offense can roll when Lamelo and Rozier get it going. New Orleans (it could go both ways if Zion can find his footing) Memphis without Adams and Morant......and Dillon on a mission......3 Games before Morant comes back.
Must have had my Rockets colored glasses on when I originally looked and the schedule and projected the Win/Loss record because I had both Magic and Spurs as wins... recalibrating. Agree first win could be Charlotte and... ... maybe we can split one with the Kings as we play them in back to back games (Rockets glasses back on). Hoping they pick up a couple of unexpected wins, but if not I now have them at a 32-48 record.
Even Charlotte is gonna be a battle if Green and Jabari play like yesterday. Also Mark Williams will be a handful on the glass
I’m going to guess the Hornets and we win 1 of 2 vs the Kings. We should’ve started 2-0 because we’re supposed to be at least in the same tier as the Magic, and we’re definitely supposed to be better than the Spurs if we wish to make the play-in.
We're going to beat at least one of the good teams when they don't take us seriously and sleepwalk into Houston expecting an easy road win. We are the trap game.
Eh I think this Rockets team can beat any team on any night if they get hot from 3 and they catch a veteran team off guard and disinterested. This early in the season teams are all locked in and mostly healthy too so it’s tough to see many if any wins in the first 20.
Most likely they beat a team that has problems closing out itself, suffers from injuries and inconsistency, not a motion Offense..... Charlotte, Memphis, Sactown bc they are not clicking, NOLA. Lakers and Clippers tend to underestimate opponents. I think Charlotte is better on Offense than people predict but they are a young team.
Should've already had one. Until they learn to close close games and make free throws it could be a while. This team doesn't have the firepower to blow anyone out.
I hate these schedule computers and the new play the same team back to back format. The Commish sucks.
If optimistic maybe an upset on Sunday (home game, possibly no Draymond). Then we get the W on the Hornets. Seven home games in a row for HOU. Not a fan of the in-season tourney as they make the opponents less spread out, most of the teams in "bottom" tier, don't face us until after the New Years. No Draymond? I'm intrigued. That means none of our players will be getting tripped up or kicked on the head.
