Far from it. I have a geopolitical view, with all considerations..also, societal, along with the humanist view. We've run these scenarios countless times on mainframes, dating back. What we haven't taken into consideration is a "president" riding in on a coup at the same time...giving it all away. Talk about propaganda...doubling down, quadrupling down, etc, etc, etc....Many of us have relatives, who have fought for our freedom rolling over in their graves.
You know, we used to scan newspapers, quickly spotting cover stories and their intention...some thiings never change. This is part of what I did for a living.
The working class MAGA is different than the evangelical MAGA. One doesn’t care about Gays or Abortion and the other hates Gays and Abortion. But both distrust non-White foreigners and love Americana. But the evangelicals love Israel because it’s a pre-requisite for the rapture and the working class MAGA don’t love Israel so much as they just hate Arabs and Muslims because of 9/11. Working class MAGA is less likely to think the holocaust is real or that we landed on the moon. Evangelical MAGA thinks the Earth is 6000 years old and dinosaurs are a liberal lie.
It says something that people put up posters of children being held hostage half way around the world but not of children missing here in the US. We care more about kids that we can't do anything about than kids we can help here at home - and guess what - there are missing Jewish kids here. Why not put flyers of them up - at least it's more productive. Oh that's right, it wouldn't be political! That's a travesty.

It’s to drum up domestic support for Israel’s response. In a vacuum, the destruction in Gaza is just as abhorrent as Aleppo and Bakhmut. But if you frame it as look our beautiful daughters and sisters who were brutally raped and beaten by these low intelligence Palestinian brutes who need to be punished, then you can get a western cart blanche to punish all of Gaza and to raze Gaza city. Is it justice? Absolutely not. Is it a strategic decision? Absolutely.
I still think Trudeau could’ve gotten the hostages back if he actually threatened to add H to LGBTQ Acronym.
There is a deliberate uptick in pro-Israel propaganda because the IDF response to a crime against humanity is another crime against humanity. But those crimes are possible because we in the west empower them.
This is an ignorant question but what happens to all this rubble in Gaza? Can it be salvaged and reused?
I think old concrete normally gets crushed and is basically used as gravel/filler. You can mix it in with cement to make new concrete, or use it as fill. Maybe you can do other things with it, but I think economically it doesn't make a ton of sense.
Concrete can be recycled but it's not a simple process. Basically has to be ground up. Not sure if that's doable in a place like Gaza.
