He already announced that he’s moving Sengun to PF and starting Boban at Center next game. The new twin towers. Jabrari has potential but the reality is that he’s mentally weak and that will always hinder his game. I know some individuals within the organization and the criticism I hear is that Jabrari puts too much pressure on himself and that negatively affects his game at times.

So let me get this straight….you’re asking a pro basketball team not to make silly turnovers and hit their free throws???

Jalen looked like he was practically running from the ball in crunch time. Looked scared to me. That's the time to demand the ball. Green is a worse version of Kevin Martin. Hopefully we trade him for a Mvp player like we did him.

Smith got embarrassed today. Been high on him all summer through pre season... boy was I wrong.

Sengun played good (besides free throws) BUT not well enough that you pass him the ball like 4 times in a row on the same low block and expect him to make the write play every time.

Van fleet should have been more the center point in the final minutes.

How can you make plays without the ball?

We want a team offence and the ball to be shared around. The usage rate stats show that today. Don't get mad if certain players don't get high scores. You need a high usage rate for that

This is maybe not what you're asking.....I think Jabari is very much a STILL DEVELOPING 20 and 1/2 year old. His draft status was based on scouts who should know ...evaluation of his current talents and his UPSIDE. I don't think he's even scratched the surface of what he can and will be. This is just my opinion but, I don't think he's had a lick of coaching until Ime showed up. All of his "coaching" last year didn't help a lick...BTW, the same questions are being hurled regarding Jalen and now Thompson. Last year Alpy was included.

You know what the common denominator is ? ...they are all YOUNG and one and done's or GLeaguers/Overtime Elite with very little experience. Bari and Tari 82 and 84 NBA games respectively, Jalen 145,Alpy 150,Tate 181, Brooks 347,Bullock-514,FVV-419. My point is experience matters....Dillon Brooks spent 3 years at Oregon, has been in the NBA for 7 years. FVV 4 years at Wichita St., not drafted in 2016, was a bench player, became a full time starter in 2019. Tari played 23 games at Cincinnati and 33 at LSU...only 56 games and 82 games in the NBA. JMO...but Jalen, Tari, Alpy, and yes Jabari will be much better as they go along. This will happen. I only hope someone else doesn't end up reaping the benefits of us being impatient with this young core.

Jabari got fouled in the last 2 minutes when he went to dunk on wemby got fouled by wemby no call. Sengun got fouled when he posterized collins and of course no foul while on the other end every time a spurs player blow by foul and one. It was obvious they were calling the fouls one way only.

I agree with everything said here. Those guys are still developing and it just started 2 games ago. We all know this team with Silas was just tanking on purpose and didn’t care about developing the young core. It starts this season. The only player that looks ahead of the bunch is Alpy and that’s because of international tournaments he’s been playing at an early age.

we were in a competitive game, so that’s that. The Spurs wanted it. Last year we got a couple of wins against quality teams, but it was because they slept on us. This one was competitive and the Spurs wanted it…

Bad news is 1. we choked, and 2. we were supposed to be better than San Ant and we weren’t, we were just level…

It’s a baby step. Well, not really, more like when a baby stands up and looks like he’s gonna take a step but then they fall down. This game was that.

Jabari Smith Immaturity is going to set this team back.
Jalen Green more scared of Ime Udoka Getting Angry.

Ime Udoka doesn't have Jalen Green Scoring and Playmaking with Sengun, the Offense won't Flow.

This Offense won't work. Fred VanVleet should not start the Offense. Jalen must start the Offense. Fred needs to be a Add On to Jalen Green, Pushing and Passing to open Jalen Green Shots.

In 2009-10…. James Harden’s rookie season-he played in 76 games averaging 9.9 points per game, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists. He was drafted with the THIRD overall pick in 2009 draft..
Hmm… how about that… sounds familiar with our young guys.

This is basketball and it should not divide like politics, if some player is dividing the fanbase like that, it shows there is a large problem with his game.

You hear crickets because FVV is gone after 2-3 years and people would not cry a tear for him. He is just being used as a utensil.

Don’t forget Sengun’s mistakes late with silly touch fouls and fouls off the moving screen. And that dumb behind the back attempt on the baseline. He too like Smith missed a bunch of FT and found a way to lose. As I said these two guys found a way to lose and that’s alarming as you would want players making winning plays and having more discipline in the cerebral part of the game.

Like what sophistication are you talking about? Please articulate in detail what you would like to see on the court in terms of offense and what “sophistication” means to you.

He also went to him because Collins was in foul trouble. The last couple of plays to Sengun were forced.
