Sengun definitely had a great game. He was the most effective on offense.

But that doesn't mean you need to turn him into Luka Donic and run the same action 8 possessions in a row causing turnovers over predicatblity.

Not Green and Sengun had similar assist to turnover ratios last season. He definitely can create for players. You obviously don't actually watch much of him last season. He has tunnel vision to be a full time pg but he definitely can playmaker for others.

The missed free throws did us in. Once in OT, refs weren't gonna let us win. HOU: 10 / 20 FT (50%) tonight.

Bad FT games do happen, in recent memory, it happend to the Knick's season opener against the Celtics, they had 14/26 (53.8%) and lost by 4 pts. That said they're good enough to win their next game (vs hawks).

Magic and Spurs are teams in our tier, so there was much hope to win maybe one of them. As others mentioned after Hornets, it's a tough schedule ahead; teams from higher tiers.

I love the generosity of our guys, donating one in every two free throws to the kids. Maybe we should’ve kept just ooooone more though

You run the ball through him because you have NO offense otherwise. Frauds Jalen Jabari Dillon little person Fred, non shooting Amen/Jasean, this team is trash on paper and on the court,

Yes he does. You watched probably 2 games of Green. Stop it.

You realize if we make free throws and hit a wide open shot (generated by Alpi), We win, right? It got stagnant in overtime, you are focusing on a couple bad plays but the point is that Alpi offense works, period. HE WAS A MONSTER TONIGHT. You just don't like Alpi.

It’s actually super simple to make them one handed like that. So for some non shooters, it could be a better option than normal form. Try it out the court sometimes when you’re alone. Just like up your shooting hand with the front of rim and flick it up there. Swish.

and surprisingly even if you miss the shooting touch on it can result in ball rolling into the rim since it’s going straight at the basket and spinning nicely (if you do it right obviously)

Our offensive efficiency was higher last year so far with Green with the highest usage.

We are a worse offensive team so far the first two games than last year. It's that bad so far.

Jalen Green can create for himself and others plenty.

Jesus I said he played well. I'm saying we forced it too much and froze out other players in the process. It was predictable and stagnant at the end. Spurs defenders predicted the passing lanes from pass outs from the post.

The comparison isn't valid, Giannis merely took some time for his offense to really kick in, he was a DPOY tier defender his 2nd season in the league and he only got better on both sides of the ball after that.

Also, he wasn't actively detrimental on offense taking 20 inefficient shots per game.

When it comes to Green, his offense is bad and his defense is an abomination. When you aren't good at either, that's when your clock ticks a bit faster.

He'd already be relegated to a bench role on a good team.

Poor guy only got 81 games, he was really about to turn things around if only teams waited 2 or 3 more years.

Yes, great point. Like where is the creativity Silas, I mean Ime? I was hoping we would see more sophistication with the offensive scheme with Ime, maybe not. I hope I am wrong in the future on this one.

Again, you are making your judgment based on a couple of bad plays versus an extended period of that offense working. Doesn't make sense.

Review the sequence when we lost the lead. We were up 5 or so? What happened in those possessions on offense that got the Spurs tied up to go to overtime?

It was literally what lost us the lead.
