Not total failure but it looks like consecutive 1st or 2nd Round exits yet again.

We lost because we missed wide open shots and free throws. I am not sure why you keep talking about the post ups anyway. I said we need more Fred Alpi pick and roll. Alpi was a monster tonight. Period.

First post here, Jabari has lost his confidence. It's painfully evident that he's perpetually out of position on defense, especially in those demoralizing 1 on 1 situations. And don't even get me started on his post-game interview, it was a bottomless pit of despair. Pray he might, somehow, become a slightly better defender as time unfolds, maybe manage to tighten up his footwork. His offense will eventually emerge from the shadow of his lack of confidence.

His play is fuking soft. Mentally weak.

If you want a heliocentric offense like we had the last 15 minutes of the game so be it.

But I don't think Alpi is that good we need to run a heliocentric offense. I'm assuming Ime purposefully was trying to test spamming the FVV and Sengun two man game till it's death and it's just a one off thing.

Because the offense has to be more varied than that.

At least we were more competitive than in the first game. Growing Pains just suck when you are rebuilding. Hurts losing close games.

Valid. He does the role. He just doesn’t do either of them well yet

No we didn't need more Fred and Alpi pick and roll. All other players were frozen out and it cost turnovers due to predicatblity.

By nature, most of us who even bother to create an account on CF are the strongly opinionated type. Some of us hold back a bit, and some people write the first thing that comes on their mind. It’s part of the fun!

...Well, maybe not so fun right now but it probably will be once we start stringing some wins together. How soon that’ll be depends on how much work our guys put in.

I do wish that I could have a drink with some of the most controversial posters on here though. I want to meet the minds behind the madness :p

You are just objectively wrong. Alpi was extremely effective tonight when we ran offense through him. That's why Ime kept going back to it. Its just that you don't like Alpi.

Seriously, how are people reacting to only 145 games? You have to wait until a player has been in the league for 10-15 years before making ANY judgements on how well they are doing.

FVV had 3 turnovers all night with the ball in his hands and asking him and Sengun to make plays. Jalen makes nothing happen on his own.

There has to be context to this. They didn't give him the ball. FVV and Sengun had most of it. to their credit, they were playing well off each other. Green can't do much if he hasn't got the ball. he scored late in overtime when we needed quick scores and that was the only time they looked for him

You do though. If you didn't, you'd have traded Giannis year 2. What a mistake that would have been.

Alpy had 6 of our 18 TO but he had a really good game. You can take any category and make a case for a good game or bad game sometimes. Jabari hates to lose and if you didn't see the pain in that post game interview, you don't realize the hurt. Hope he doesn't carry that with him long. That's the worst I've ever seen his demeanor following a game.

No lol Alpi. Even if you want him to be center of every possession you don't run the same exact set 6 possessions in a row. You could have at least varied it to where he might do some high post dho actions. Something different and involving other players.

Because what we did there led to multiple turnovers in a row when we had the game almost and the lost the was because of spamming the same play over and over and over and over.

Green isn’t making plays for anyone. Not himself or anyone else. He can shoot (kinda) or cut if someone else gives him space.
