I remember this one play Jabari Smith guarding a perimeter player, he goes past Jabari Smith easily and scores for easy layup.

Jabari Smith yelling at Alperen Sengun when Alperen wasn't even close to the play.

 

The dude even can't make damn Fts in clutch minutes. Stop finding excuses for his trash playing.

None of these people don't get it takes until year 3 or 4 before guys really get it lol.

Did y’all not see Vassell light his ass up? With no response from Green? Man disappeared.

Raise y’all expectations for him please. It’s year 3.

He didn’t play contained, he disappeared completely for the last 4mins of the 4th quarter and overtime until he got the easy buckets off the inbound at the very end, basically garbage time.

Hero ball isn’t what I’m asking for, he just didn’t involve himself at all.

I expect more fight and heart from our projected leading scorer.

 

Jabari Smith Immaturity is going to set this team back.

I’m not one of “y’all.” Not raging or disappointed because I had zero expectations. But he’s gotta be better than this. Obviously it’s early and if he’s your guy that’s awesome. Expectations are high when you’re taken that high in the draft

 

Jalen is two years away from being three years away

 

Jabari's defense is actually not good.
I don't get why people said he plays good defense. His defense is fuking soft.

 

Game 2 was better than game 1 but I can't get past the reality that Jalen and Jabari both ****ing suck and there are a bunch of players drafted after them that are way better.

I just don't see us ever getting to the playoffs with those two playing prominent roles

 

What are you tslking about? The reason we kept going to it was it was generating good looks. We just didn't make shots.

 

Jabari would be an excellent 3&D player if he could shoot and defend.

 

Most of the young guns haven't played with good team leaders yet. Give Ime, FVV, and Brooks time to get them to play team defense. It doesn't happen in 1 preseason. It will take nearly half the year.

 

Ya that's why Sengun has 6 turnovers.

The offense got stagnant and we lost possessions because we got predictable. No we should we be doing 8 post ups in a row. There are other actions this offense has.

Bari's defense wasn't the reason we lost. The team played well defensively to win. Bari's shooting was a reason though. He makes those FTs we win, simple as that.

 

it just seemed like alphi can be counted on a lot more for buckets and distribution compared to Jalen tonight
