i mean the refs were calling a million fouls.. we knew what tine it was.

 

From the halfway point of the 4th quarter the Spurs took 21 (!!!!) free throws to our 4. There were a lot of factors tonight, but the whistle for the last 11 minutes was bonkers. Felt like when we play GS or LAL.

 

The real terror is that if this rebuild fails, the Rockets literally won't be able to draft top talent again thanks to pick swaps to OKC.

 

Maybe if Jabari was involved in some of the action in the 4th quarter with a few more easy looks, then he is in nice rhythm for those FTs. His only "easy" look there result in Wemby's great 2 block sequence which was just a great defensive play.

I get that he should make them anyways, but these are young guys who are human. They are not robots or just a matrix of numbers in a NBA2K game.

 

@DreamShook is Jabari going to play better? What are you judging off of? Serious question.

I see no shot. No defense. Lateral is trash. He can’t move and he’s basically a shooter that’s on or off.

 

Jabari is basically a young Rashard Lewis, minus Lewis's jumping ability, shooting ability and scoring ability.

 

Sengun is the prize. We are not good. He’s the best player on a really bad team

 

Jalen Green need to take more shots and be the leading scorer. Jalen needs to set the tone First. Fred and Ime needs to realize without Jalen Green taking the most shots the Rockets won't win. 27 shots for Jalen Green.

Also Cam Whitmore is not getting playing time when he is the Second best Scorer after Jalen Green.

Jaesean Tate is a Terrible Shooter and hurts the Team offensively Long Range, defenders stay way back clogging the paint with Sengun.

 

Vassell's going to light a lot of people up. He's that good. Jalen played somewhat contained instead of hero ball tonight.

 

Rashard was better at 18.

Bonus content - Jalen had 0 FT attempts in the game despite about 10 shots at the rim.

He probably was better at 14.

 

Jalen needs to concentrate on his defensive rotations. He was getting exposed pretty regularly until the Spurs turned their attention to cooking Jabari. Both of these guys have a lot to figure out on both ends of the court.
