He plays the best when the game is on the line, he had some bad turnovers but I think he will learn from that. You have to kick out and not slip a pass to a teammate who is one inch away from you and 2 defenders are packing up space. Delivering to the hands of the enemy.
At least Ime realized in game 2 that Sengun is our best player. Love how they ran their offense through him to end the game. Jabari needs to start making shots.
I told you, Ime is a good tactician but his Celtics only won 51, which is below expectations for a contender. Regular season would not be his calling card but he is getting better at those close games.
aaaaand we lost... Really think we tried to milk that PNR a couple of possessions too many. Horrible turnover and missed shot + plus Wemby making plays. Hated losing this one. Not sure if the play was designed to go to Jabari at the end but that was a big miss.
he made the right plays he can make the shots for his teammates. Jabari has to make 1 free throw. Like cmon.
We lost because of Jabari. 1/2 from the line or one open 3 would've won us the game. He played 37 mins and did nothing.
i am a sof and voted yes but alps fts are unacceptable even if he needs to go back to his ball talking praying routine it has to get beter. even bari cost us game it souldn't be in one possesion game att the end of regulation if alp hit %70 at ft .
You can pick apart Alperen Sengun's game and youthful mistakes all you want, but holy lord is he talented. Good god. It is scary that he is this good, and hasn't even come close to figuring it out yet...
FVV is the obvious answer. Y’all know how I feel about Sengun, but he’s the only young piece that has something we can count on most nights. I guess Tari’s energy could be added too.
When he's better than FVV maybe, one game doesn't make him a superstar any more than it makes Jalen a bust.
Without a doubt he is the best. He and FVV make a nice combo. It will only get better. My only concern is free throws, He needs to hit at least 70% from the line.
I’ve been most impressed with Alp’s defense. He’s defended well, still gonna get cooked at times but the false rhetoric that he can’t be a solid defensive player is wrong. There are many things he needs to improve on (free throws and turnovers) but he can be a solid defensive player. Not a defensive anchor type, but solid
There is so much physical limitations on this team that I cannot even relish what Alpe is bringing to the table...it is sad. Maybe if it was real chess where you do not have to fight for height and length.....
Then they're very short sighted saying a player who's a career 15ppg scorer and never won **** is better than somebody who's made the all-star game and has a ring.
