Lose by 30, laughing on the court and posts this after. Yeah I'd be 100% done with this amateur hour ****. I'd need to know exactly what the plan is for him and when he's going to be doing whatever the hell is expected of him. Have just a bad game? Fine. But the kid is so unserious that it's already problematic. This isn't year one anymore. He needs to either figure out what being a professional means or put someone at the 2 spot who does. KPj was supposed to be Altuve and Green was supposed to be Correa and lmao theyre not even in the same stratosphere as professionals. There is no more time. There is no more patience.
lol. It always cracks me up when people ask for translations and then thank the good folks for translating slang. Reminds me of the Ducreux meme : Spoiler
I think he is trying to say what Garuba said...that he will prove everyone wrong. He posts like he talks...
This is so extra dramatic dude. The GM, HC and floor general watched him work like a dog all summer. So you’re not talking about history, you’re just talking about one game. But since you’re playing the role of Green’s boss, let me play the role of your boss (Tilman). Me: Wait, wasn’t it your f*cking plan I trusted to hire a coach who didn’t advance anyone’s development and to allow two years of an environment where you controlled practices but Silas and the team were acting like nothing matters? Now you’ve hired another coach and you’re 100% sure nothing has changed. You’re fired. Udoka says he knows exactly how to develop Jalen. It just takes time to get rid of bad habits and install good ones. We can’t have your bipolar tendencies around this team. We’re going to slowly and patiently build this team back up without you. Get your sh*t and GTFOH.
Actually I kind of know that he talks now........ but he should have studied harder in essay writing.....
I was referring to Tilman. Not Stone. Stone was the guy telling everyone to practice patience on you know who and had to backtrack when he did you know what. This little Insta **** is very reminiscent of the Silas era Rockets (Christian Wood, KPj, KJ Martin) and not what is supposed to be the new era Rockets moving forward. So no. I don't agree. It's the 3rd ****ing year. Either this unprofessional **** is over or he's over. I would've shipped out HH the minute he stormed out of Toyota Center and any more little drama **** like this out of Jalen and he'd be relegated to the bench. ****ing tired of watching this petulant ****. Even the .500 era Scola Rockets had professionals on that team. My patience is getting close to 100% gone with Jalen.
I think it is likely that some of these conversations were had, maybe at the end of last season. I see your point: if my GM is trying to sell me on the “Face of the Franchise", and that Face is deliberately manifesting illiteracy, I’d have questions. HOWEVER, Green is no longer the Face of the Franchise. Fee van Vleet is. So I’d just chill for now, save the post and bring it up next summer when his agent comes knocking-in and asking for the extension…
I still think of him as a teenager. Compare him to Mobley, Cunningham, they're already men. He really needs to grow out of this kid phase he's in.
Great comparison. I have often thought of Jalen Green's on-court artistic expression, to say nothing of his post-game quotes, as reminiscent of the American poet and songwriter Bob Dylan. "Ah you never turned around to see the frowns On the jugglers and the clowns when they all did tricks for you You never understood that it ain't no good"
I an rooting Jalen. I am also worried that he doesnt have a reliable way of scoring besides out of control drives to the basket. Hope he can slow down a little and dominate.
It's not really slang, it's merely a celebration of ignorance and poor education. A certain segment of the population think it's cool to sound like you have a severe learning disability. Personally I think it's acceptable to make fun of those types, they should be shamed for glorifying the stupid because it really does lead to harm for some.... not millionaire basketball players, but dipshit kids who grow up idolizing that type of thing that don't have the money to constantly act like a moron without consequences.
If Jalen Green would just pass the ball back out a few more times rather than try to finish plays that he's not good enough to finish he'd be a better player. Maybe it doesn't jibe with his own self-image as a player, but a drive & kick puts pressure on a defense too.
Udoka or not Green is running out of time. It's not even about development at this point, it's the most basic things that Green is showing a lack of improvement on. Kids coming out of high school don't continuously make the same bad decisions Jalen makes, kinda mind boggling.
