This is the absolute worst case scenario when it comes to Dusty. Ol' Boy needed to get fired mid-season, but will likely get brought back because the FO has no spine and they'll justify it with "Hurr, they were 27 outs from a world series!!!!!!!!" Dusty drops to 0-4 in Game 7s, and three of the last four seasons, his entire tenure, ended with the team getting curb-stomped in an elimination game.
McCullers needs to give up on being a starting pitcher and move to the bullpen. He would be nasty in the pen with his stuff and only having to work 1 inning

The only good thing about this embarrassment is maybe it prevents Maldy and Dusty Baker from being on the team next year
I think Click is a big reason we even won it all last year. This organization took a huge step back when Crane chose to side with Dusty over Click and gave him free reign. Analytics went out the window and was replaced by old school baseball "feel"..whatever the **** that is. The pitching and hitting coaches sucked this season. They probably weren't getting the same quality of data and analytics fed from the front office. More time removed from Brett Strom's influence on the pitching too. Maldy probably got more say on that side and Dusty got more power overall and it went to his head. Dana Brown was stifled.
