Still feel pretty crappy about last night but the good news is we got La Reptile on the mound. I don’t think he will be phased by anything. The thing I’m worried about is if Scherzer recaptures some of his old magic.
The Astros are the Houston A's at MMP. We will all know by the 4th inning tonight if the Houston Astros show up. Too much dead weight in the lineup right now. I'll be surprised if the Astros win tonight.
He hadn’t won a WS until last year. The Astros hadn’t lost a chance to clinch in a non-elimination game until last night. These stats are pretty meaningless. The Astros have scored 6 runs at home in the LCS. Whether they win or not will depend on whether someone other Altuve, Yordan, and sometimes Abreu actually shows up and hits.
I think going over Peña is not going to sit well with World Series MVP. Never seen a Game 7 that is so tilted to 1 team. Need a Mario Elie type player.
I'm on vacation in Northern Michigan. I watched that game at my brother-in- law's house. It sucked. They hate Hinch, btw.
Add Tucker to that list. Add Bregman to that list. Always add Maldy to that list. Might as well throw in Dubon. That’s 5 starters. Astros better throw a shutout tonight.
Don’t worry guys.. I got a buddy who has gone to 2 games this post season. Both games lost He won’t be going to todays game.. We good
Not going to lie..... I do not like this situation. We should have swept these guys, but we cannot freaking win at Home. Its insane. I am afraid that Max will come out dealing, and they'll have figured out Javier. Please let me be wrong!
Since 2022 ALCS for Astros Road: 10-1 Home 4-5 greatest team of all time numbers on road. Average going nowhere team at home. just a crazy stat
I’m too old to be so emotionally invested that I’m swearing loudly in my house after every Rangers hit. I don’t think I’m even going to watch the game live tonight. I can’t believe they’re this bad at home again and we’re re-living the 2019 World Series. I also can’t believe I’m not satisfied with getting to see them win six division titles, four American League pennants, and two World Series championships in just the last seven years. All of these incredible postseason moments, Altuve’s legendary home runs, the rise of Yordan Alvarez, etc. Wins now should feel like the third cherry on top of a sundae, but I feel as wracked as I did in 2017. Maybe more now. Wtf?
I was responding to a comment about Peña specifically, but yes everyone other than Altuve and Yordan and maybe Abreu could arguably step it up. Bregman hasn’t been terrible but also feels like his impact offensively has been timed poorly.

I’m with ya, so much time invested and it’s not fair to my family that I’m grumpy as hell (promise I’m trying not to be) just not sure I can do it anymore. Part of me wants to beat the Rangers so badly and part me doesn’t think we deserve to go on so we can end this current phase. I’m just lost, that’s all. Much Love to Clutchfans, love being a part of this group and enjoy everyone’s takes.
How do you run out of gas when Chas, Yainer, and Brantley... who are all among your top 10 position players have been load managed more than Kawhi?
